Title: Summing up his success?
Description: Viggo's take.

I saw this piece from OBM.net and thought it rather true... It's from this Belgium magazine where Viggo was featured in a three-page article and someone translated this quote by Viggo:

QUOTE
"Sometimes I pity my good friend Orlando Bloom: he has barely made two movies, 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean', and those movies were immediately two box office hits. That is not healthy: Orlando doesn't get the chance to make mistakes. He cannot move one step or the cameras start flashing."

Too true. Viggo summed it up so well nobody else could summarize it any further. It's probably the reason why Orlando's so protective of his personal life, and he's still pretty awkward...

Would be quite sad if he loses that awkwardness and turn into another BradPitt or JudeLaw! (Hollywood-ish)

 Yeah that's true.... **sighs**

That quote brilliantly sums up how Orlando's disposition has become. I feel bad for him, too. I know he went into acting to be seen and for fame, but lord...his entire life is scrutinized at all times.

Must be so damn hard...

read the article as well

Some of the A-list actors manage to keep their privatelife private, but I suppose that takes a lot of effort.

huh he always gives me the feeling that he's just doiing his job, and all the fuss is more irritating then anything else

Well I think Kim meant that he did it to get himself recognized as an actor, and not a pin-up heart-throb actor who might just get tossed out of a teenage girl's room anytime!

I happen to think that he enjoys the big screen, but on a smaller scale like in 'HAVEN' or 'CALCIUM KID'. He just wants to build up something right now so that he wouldn't fade into oblivion later on or something. Maybe he might return to theatre, though it's highly unlikely in the near future since he's got so much lined up, plus he doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
