Okay here is a new tutorial, we are gunna make some text look pretty funky coz i noticed that on some siggies people dont tend to bother, but they can make the whole siggie look so much better.

okay so start of opening a new document in Photoshop 500x500 pixels

now insert the text, make sure you use a thick and bold font tho

make the text huge so it fills most of the canvas


now do this


now select the text only, not the backround


now we are going to add a gradient, choose two colours i chose green and blue, click and drag from the top of the text to the bottom of the text


now do this


now go to
Filter>Stylize>Wind

and then do this


now rotate the image back so it looks normal again and you should have icy looking text

Now go to
Layer>Layer Style> Blending Options

now follow what i have done













okay now we are done you should end up with something like this


okay now here is the tricky bit, go to
Layer>Flatten Image
highlight all the white around and inside your text and delete it
then press Ctrl+Shift+I
this will invert your selection
press Ctrl+C this will copy your selection
and then make a siggie and paste it on, you may have to resize it
