That was her mother doing it but damn....i can never get tired of watching that scene :D . It kinna shock me when i saw it cause you know.....it's clea in the flesh. All i can say now is that i can at least die a happy man.

I don't think that that was the mother giving her that vision, I think that Sofie is beginning to have her own visions and that is why she keeps getting them at random. I don't think that we will know that until next season though.

Ok, Sofie is getting visions from her mother. Things that are going to happen. In that scene it looks like sofie and libby are really enjoying them selves...you can tell that they are smiling at that are happy to be together... ;)
I think her mother interupted the vision and then you see the blood comming out of sofies hand...and then sofie isnt too happy about it. Then the worm moving in the voka bottle...was a mommy thing too. :angry:

Her mom isnt happy about sofie and libby. so mommy's revenge was to ruin it for her. Sofie got back by cutting mommies hair.

Riley they aren't going to kill her off there is no way don't worry about it. They want us to think that they are killing off sophie to save Ruthie. I would stay tuned to next season don't give up on it that easily. I find it kind of hard to follow myself am I the only one?

No... its hard to follow. I guess if you watch it with a couple of people... it's easier. I say that because I work with a few people who watch it too and everyone picks up on different things.

Like someone told me a long time ago that the 2 kids that Brother Justin saw in his dream was him and Iris. And look what they disclosed today! That's what I kinda hoped would happen with this forum. It's funny how different people pick up on different stuff.

But about Sophie dying... if she does, it kinda sucks that she was killed off in the first season... but I think after what she did, she kinda deserves to die. She was probably the sole reason I stuck with the show this long, it is a really confusing story line.

Why do you think she deserves to get killed off? All she did it prove to Jonesy that he hurt her and she made him feel the way he made her feel. I am not sure about management all I know is that management is fucked up big. It would make sense to have management be the fetus in the jar. I need to find people to watch this show with me because its too hard to follow it by yourself. I mean this is the kind of show that you need to talk about it after everyone episode you know!

As far as her getting killed off... what she did was completely out of character. She was so nice and sweet to everyone. Like the "little girl" that kind of hung around the adults. I think after what she did, it would be pretty poetic for her to be killed off.

I would like her to stay on... don't get me wrong, she was the only reason I stuck with it as long as I did. I just see the irony in it, that's all.

Im totally for what sofie did to jonesy and libby. I mean, if someone i love was screwing someone else and my best friend know about it but didn't inform me, i would be uber piss off too. Conversation was... Mombie was giving Sophie to Lodz. She wanted Ben to kill her in order to save Ruthie. Reason being... Sophie told Mombie that she was leaving the Carnivale that morning. So... Mombie knew either way that Sophie was planning on leaving. Mombie knew that if Sophie left, the Carnivale would have no use for her. See what I am saying?? Mombie knew that Lodz was going to be killed by Ben... she can tell the future. So she killed herself and Sophie...

Any clearer??? heh heh heh (It's hard to type it out... it makes sooo much sense in my head!!)

i think that was totally disgustng how sofie treated libby, i mean talk about overreacting! this after libby tried to warn her in the last episode about men being dogs:)!! but damn those love scenes were hot! and they have incredible chemistry together..'

hope sofie is not killed off,( despite being a creature of the dark or what not) . they had better bring her back, and have her get back with libby:)

oh btw- i don't think sofie "loves" jonesy, she probably has more romantic feelings for libby, but is trying to escape them by trying to get together w/ jonesy which is a safer alternative for 1934. did you notice in one of the episodes, when she cringed when jonesy touched her??

if the writers are trying to potray sofie and libby as only "best friends", then they are not doing a great job about it,, whenever they are together, you can see the longing in their eyes.. yeah clea has the most smouldering eyes!!

Although I havent seen Carnivale yet I gotta agree with you about Clea's eyes..
second to her smile, its my fave feature, that and her hair, gives her that added sexiness.

Hey, I heard rumors that people think Sofie is management... anyone here think that could be possible?

Riley I am not sure if I think that Sophie could be management. I think the fetus in the jar being management is more believable than sophie. I just think that sophie is going through alot right now and that is why she is acting so out of character. I mean I am not sure how I would be able to handle my mother being catatonic my whole life. I think that next season is going to be better than this one and I don't think that they are going to kill sophie off. If they do I am going to be very sad but not sad enough to stop watching......I am hooked!!!!

theres intense chemistry between her and carla gallo in the series.. ( who plays libby). carla happens to be really cute too!i m hoping that sofie makes it out of the trailer alive ( im pretty sure she wld coz i read an interview w/ one of the writers of the show and he was gushing about about her talent etc), also clancy brown said something to the effect that the lesbian vision/stigmata scene wld be explained next season ( in his weekly decoding carnivale interview).

regarding management, i don't think its sofie..remember mgt bought over the carnival many many years ago, presumably before sofie was born. i have no theories on who mgt is altho there are bizarre ideas floating around on carnivale.org.

What Lodz and Apollonia were talking about: Apollonia wanted Sophie to be killed by Ben to save Ruthie, because she knew that Lodz would be killed and Sophie would leave her. That's why in the end, when Lodz told her no, she decided they would die together.

good news on the show being renewed for next year tho.. on the yahoo carnivale gp, someone in the know posted that hbo informed the actors that it is renewed ,and hbo has paid for 6 scripts already..

so anyone else watching "angels in america" right now on hbo??? its pretty interesting ... not as good as carnivale tho!
