Title: Room 5 Key
Riley - December 8, 2003 04:45 AM (GMT)
I've got the key to room 5 up for grabs. (Identity)
Don't know who would really want it. I don't remember "who stayed" in that room... but, if you need it for your collection I can hook you up.

Room 5 was actually Cleas...I think. Cause ::spoiler:: Didnt they find that key after the car blew up?

Yeah cuz remember when she slams the door closed, it drops from a six to the nine. Heh. And anyway, the room they were in had nothing to do with the order they died in or the key they found near them, which the key did actually have something to do with the order they died, but not with what room they were in.

So the question really is.... when did she die???? hmmmmmm <_<

Actually it's her (Ginny's) husband slamming the door

Must be around #5, 'cause they just found #6, checked #7, and then John Cusack told them to leave ...

when she died, she should have key number 5, but they don't actually ever find that key... perhaps they assume that it melted in the fire cuz nothing was left except the frame of the car. but they don't show any keys after number 6... until key number 1. i guess they do that so you don't know that the boy didn't die when clea did. (did i just spoil the whole movie? i'm so sorry!!!! watch the movie! it's good :) )

It was weird, if nothing else.
Very strange and hard to understand, but definately a good film. Id advise any who havent watched it to check it out, but i think i need to watch it more times to understand the entire film.
What you think of it?

The more times you watch it, the more you'll pick up and understand.
I really thought it was the best "who done it?" film I'd seen in a long time. I was a psych major for a while, so I'm into stuff like that anyway. I'd recommend it to anyone who was into murder mysteries...
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they had Clea's character scream and cry the whole time. You understood all of the other characters and actually found out what their story was. It just felt like they threw the married couple in because they needed two more people. If you still have the DVD, check out the deleted scenes. They have a good one with Clea in it where she's bitchin' out her husband... they shouldn't have cut it.

Yeah, i saw that bit, where she makes him sleep on the other side of the room, and the other woman comes in and complains cos they call her a hooker.
I totally agree, she did seem very weird in a roll where she just sat in the toilet and hid and stuff, but i suppose thats because we're so used to seeing her in more hardass film roles.
But it was definately one that kept you guessing right to the end. I watched it with friends who were way to busy guessing what happened, whereas i was just annoyed they killed her off so quickly.
hehe, but it did spark some discussions after..

I stop it before the car scene and imagine that Ginny leaves her husband for the hooker next door. It's infinitely more satisfying and my version improves with each "viewing" too.
Lemming - January 21, 2004 08:15 PM (GMT)
Hmm, i havent tried that but ill definately have to next time i watch it. You can almost imagine her coming out of the room when her husbands dead to find the hooker on the bed, tempting yet kinda weird with the body next to them....lets just forget that...
Note to self: Stop telling other people what you are thinking, they dont always want to know.
Second note to self: Think only clean thoughts....
