Title: Sex Toys

Cleaduvallslover - March 3, 2006 04:09 PM (GMT)
Ok
Im currently working on a new novel but need some ideas etc on a delicate matter.
Im writing about a lesbian but don't just want to make the thing from my point of view so i thought If I ask on here people might help me work out a solution.
Ok here goes. If you meet a nice lady and get her back to your place do you introduce her to your draw full of sex toys on the first night of passion or do you wait a while then hope she doesn't lose interest?
Any ideas etc would be big help for my novel
Thanks

Personally, I would wait to introduce her to your drawer of toys. You can bring toys up in casual conversation...but not on the first date. Unless of course the date is all about pure sex...then bring it on.

See that was my thinking because would it be a very fiery sexual encounter of a one night stand or would it be a very fiery first date.lol.But I hear ya.
I will have to rethink where in the novel the relationship/encounter would lead.
P.s I dont have a drawer full of toys,I keep mine under the bed.haha.

Yeah....a VERY firery first date or 1 night stand. That might be a case when you are bringing it up. A 1 night stand is all about sex right...that might be a good case to bring up the drawer.

I recently had this conversation with my very new to sex girlfriend. I showed her my drawer, cause I have a drawer, and she didn't freak...we've been together for 3 months though.

I don't know. I guess it depends on the people as well. DId you meet at a club on fedish night? Sex toys are going to be expected...you know?

lol
That just made me laugh, fetish club, lol.
I just wanted ideas for my novel thats all. I am not really one to go straight to the sex toys but thats why I wanted other opinions, although it seems you and me are the only ones frequenting this place now, haha. Either that or my topic scared them half to death.lol,.

Lego...that's awsome!

Oh and don't worry CDL.....I know that you aren't really into this stuff. ;) :P I'll keep your secret.

I agree that it's nice to see that someone is on the board. Dr. Nick is checking in every now and again as well.

CDL,
im so sad that you are deprived of a lego collection. My brother and I have join custody even though we are old enough to have our own kids. perhaps you should make yourself some homemade playdough and put that in your toy box. Some peole prefer that before stepping into something as advanced as lego.

Congrats on your book, may I ask what it's about? Well that's a stupid question cause I just asked. If any of you want to read a amazing book, check out "The Lost garden" by helen humphreys. Amazing! Good luck!
