For anyone who likes good music and has not checked out KT Tunstall's debut album Eye to the Telescope, you should.
I got my copy today(Yes I know, I will never save all my pennies.lol.)
I loved it on first listen. Sometimes songs have to grow on me but with this album it just hit me from the get go.
I especially like the songs,Other side of the world,Suddenly I see and Silent sea.
So yeah I recommend this album and give it a big thumbs up.
9/10

I'm glad that you enjoy The Weepies. Check out Deb Talans solo stuff. Also fantastic!

Also...for you "folkies" Check out Anne Heaton and A Girl Called Eddy. :-)

In the mornings I listen to a radio station called ERS. It's a local Boston radio station that broadcasts out of Emerson College.

Yo ucan stream it live at www.wers.org From 6am - 10am (Eastern Standard Time) USA they air a program called "The Coffeehouse" All "folk rock" SO GOOD! Check it out if you can.

Linz thanks for the tip. I've already heard of A girl called Eddy and I love the song life through the same lens. It's lovely how accessible indie pop is now a days thanks to internet radio.

A few more recommendations to you or whoever else feels adventurous:

The arcade fire
Broken social scene (lover's spit is chilling)
The Weakerthan's (one great city is all about the city I live in)
Stars
the organ

These are all Canadian bands and no I don't work for a label company! i just love to try and convert people.
