"SAW"

Ok
I was all hyped up about this movie. I don't normally do hyped too much as I feel dissapointed if the film lets me down. But yes I did it and yes I was let down.
I really think that this film was not at all how it was made out to be. Sure enough their were certain aspects that seemed ok but not at all what I was hoping for.
There seemed to be in my opinion a poor plot and a total let down at the end of the movie.
Maybe some of you like it, but i really didn't think much of it at all. I hope The Grudge is slightly better, although I like the old version of The grudge.
I have also just watched the japanese film "Dark Water" of which I am led to beleive we will have an american version. I really loved the movie, it is japanese Horror at it's best. Its all about the mystery, the chill and the intrigue in japanese horror, not just the gore factor. To me thats why japan gets it right. I do not know about the remake, but I hear Jennifer connelley is set to appear as the main character, so it might not be so bad.
Well thats it for now

Sorry I'm a little late.... but as they say... a little late is better then never...

I saw (no pun intended) this movie in the theater. I thought it could have been so much more! I was upset when they didn't dive deeper into the killers mind, or what he had done in the past. I thought this was a very interesting idea... to have a serial killer give people a chance to get out. You know?

But they didn't go into it. Most of the movie took place in a bathroom or in flashbacks. Boring....

Although I will say it was fun to see the dude from Princess Bride. Fun times... but he didn't age well. He was hotter back then!

Anyway... I understand there is a sequal in the works. Dunno if I'll spend the 8 bucks to see it. We'll have to see what the trailers look like. :)
