I heard from cleaduvall.net that The Grudge is now available in the US on DVD and that as part of the special features there is commentary with a bunch of people who worked on the film, including Clea.
So i'm just wondering if anyone has watched/listened to it yet, and what you thought if you had?

I rented out The Grudge finally and I have to add I was somewhat let down. I didn't really get what all the hype was over it in the first place. I am a fan of Japanese horror anyway so I have seen the original version of this film of which I much prefer. I know that the film was worked on by ted and sam raimi and rob Tapert so I thought ok, along with the original director from the first film it would be good. I can honestly say I was so let down. I think Clea could have better played SMG's part. I understand the story and how we enter it half way through, which could have easily mislead some viewers, but I just feel anything great, Sure the effects were good, but it just didnt scream out to me. The only part I liked was the sound. It was like someone made the talking sound so low so you had to turn it up, thus resulting in the shock of your life when the cat noises and scratching came on.lol.(Maybe they did it purposely.)
It is ok as a standalone film but nowhere near as good as The japanese version.
I would say just rent it if you want a short 10 minute Clea fix.lol.

Well, lets see how the unrated DVD will be, the PG13 version is really average horror stuff.
Clea is really super cute in it  but unfortunately again very few Clea :$
