Description: Best Lesbian Flick

I know everyone would vote BIAC N1 so I decided to not run this in the vote. But we all know this is the best anyway.
Thanks
Jodie

Even Im having trouble deciding now..
Do I vote for Tipping the velvet...?or All over me?? or Lost and delirious for that matter.

Hmm, I had to go with "Show me Love" (or "Fucking Amal")
I don't like the soundtrack, but everything else is really good. The actors do an unreal job, the script is so well handled, and there is no sensationalisation... of course, I haven't seen all the other ones.
So I want to hear about them from you guys

You havent seen any of the others?
Well If you go to the site called www.tvandfilmgrrl.com which someone told me about on another thread. It has fantastic section about Movies. It has a link about nearly every lesbian movie you can think of. A short synopsis and pic or two of the characters.
Go take a look, its fab, it has tv series and episodes too.
Take care
Jodes.
P.s If you wanna watch any let me know as I have all of the above movies. :D

Oh yeh - better than chocolate!
That might be where my obsession with Canadians began. No, wait... that was Degrassi High.
 OK, but BTC is still an excellent film.

Hi
Firstly I said why I banned BIAC from the vote, because I knew everyone would more than likely vote for it.
Secondly, sorry I couldnt really fit all the lesbian movies on the vote, but most that you have mentioned are great. I too love "all over me" For the music. I have the soundtrack It is brilliant. Isnt the pink haired guitar player so cute too, I forgot her name now saying that.

The pink-haired girl was Leisha Hailey. She is dating kd lang in real life and she's a rock star, too. Heh. She used to sing for the Murmurs, now she sings for Gush. She's also going to be on the new show The L Word. She plays Alice, a bisexual journalist.
I'm not a big obsessive fan or anything but my girlfriend loves her so I know a bit. ^_^

 It's true. I don't know why I tried to cover that up...
Who is the name of all that's holy is Ann-Marie MacDonald? The woman who owns the bookstore? She fucking rocks whoever she is. Wendy Crewson is also great.

i have the BTC dvd and watched the movie with the commentary and ti said that Wendy Crewson and Peter Outerbridge are like best buds and that it was like their 10th movie together. he had never done drag before and he had to have his chest, legs and back waxed. i saw him in another movie on sundance the other day and i just didnt like him as much as a man, lol. after BTC i will never be able to see him in any other light.
