So this is the deal,

In the past two days, I have mentioned looking at people and taking note that they are hot (not when the boyfriend's around). I have been with a guy for 2 years now and would never cheat or do anything. I mentioned how I find the bike messenger's in the city are so damn sexy...mostly because I think hardcore cyclists are weirdly sexy in some weird imaginary way. Anywho, I was told by these three people that i shouldn't say stuff like that, or that i was wrong to even notice because i'm in a commited relationship. Is it normal to be doing this? Am i being totally rude, or are these people not admitting that other people are hot? I mean really, how could you turn all of your good looking tastes off just because you're dating someone? Anywho, tis all.

ohhh dont listen to them. its fine to say someone is hot even when youre with someone else. i went out with this kid kevin even tho i still thought this kid jeremy was hot. who the hell cares. just as long as ur not making an effort to flirt with the guy or anything along those lines, its perfectly fine. and its not like anyone can just get a guy right off. if like you were with your boyfriend you would still say a hot guy celebrity (take seann william scott) is hot. so you say seann is hot, it probably wont matter cuz the chances of even seeing him in person are slim to none...but do you get what im getting at?

No way!!! It's not cheating... as long as it's not acted upon! I look at it this way... couples watch porn together all the time, and if that's not considered cheating, then thinking some random dude walking by is hot is like saying "Hey, I like hot dogs."

My ex-boyfriend and I used to rate people walking buy all the time. It was entertaining. I gave him back is engagement ring when I found out he got some other girl pregnant... now that's what I consider cheating. ;)

Thanks guys! I found it really weird when the people said that i was wrong because I would never had expected it coming from them. It's just weird how some people think you have to tune out pleasant visual stimuli just because your in a relationship. Next time I'll just look and won't speak
