LOL... yes my "WOHOO!!!" Was directly connected to the fact that a movie is coming out with Clea in it sometime soon. It had no, I repeat NO connection to the fact that you poor unamericans can not see it. I wish that all of us could watch it together...but alas, stupid media outlets stop selling the love short. :(

I have always been really interested in serial killer and people around them. And even though Charles Manson never killed someone I have read a lot about him and his "sect". I was so happy when I saw that Clea was going to play Susan, one of Charles closest "sisters"!

Just finished watching it. Clea was amazing from what i saw. i had to miss the first hour cuz my parents were being assholes but i saw alot. i basically came in on the part where theyre watching the news and they talk about sharon tate being murdered and the whole group is cheering and clea is like how can this be right? and then i watched thru the end. i really enjoyed it...except for the bloody and dead people parts.

Ahhhhh bugger! I only caught the last 1/2 hour or so. But it was great with popcorn. Why must I be social? Anywho, Clea's so awesome in everything, it's too bad I missed most of it. :/

I only saw a half hour of it, and it wasn't even the end. I was so tired that I passed out. I only saw Clea getting out of her moms car. LOL...Her hair was really long in it. It definately looked like a bad wig in the scene that I saw. BUT....Heres the big announcement....I taped it. SO, I'm going to watch it today then maybe, just if you are lucky, I will make copies for those who love me enough. ;)

As someone who owns almost all of Ms. D's published works on DVD I would like to suggest to those who are interested in HS that perhaps you might not be so interested if you knew how bad she looked in this film.

It was a pretty good movie. For TV anyway. That is to say that if your interest is purely CD you may be disappointed. Visually, almost definately disappointed. It's not one of her best looks. In fact, it looks little like her.

Her performance was stellar, as usual. I'm sorry that I didn't record it but, as I said in an earlier post, I didn't know she was in the movie until I saw her. By then it was too late given that I was in another room and in the middle of dinner.

For those of you looking for bootleg recordings, I'd highly recommend most others over this. Carnivale is brilliant, as is Sleeping Beauties. While I don't believe in bootleging things at the expense of the artists I would be willing to copy SB onto DVD for anyone interested since it is not available for purchase elsewhere. I haven't put it on disc yet but if anyone wants to see it please let me know. Carnivale has a DVD release date already, though I'm not sure what it is exactly.

NICE!!! The garage is a definatel must...so is making out with me. I actually have 3 copies made already...they are not the best copies every...but you get commercials too. LOL. Kate one is already yours...I'm going to try to tag on SB for you. I'm going to email Karen so that is 2 and whoever wants the third...just post.

As far as the movie goes...Keithsangel is right...Clea looked not so good. But I thin kthat is more of the time and place of where she was...she HAD to look bad cause in reality...the cahracter really would look bad. So that is up to everyone. I don't think that anyone on this board can say that they only like clea because she is beautiful. SO i think that it would be worth anyones wild to see this movie. Her role is not huge...but its not small. And...an added bonus...she doesn't die. Which I think may be a first! ;)
