Title: What The Hell Happened In The Last Episode?
BaconX - December 1, 2003 03:32 AM (GMT)
Just to get this out of the way first, the kiss was very nice...very very nice indeed. Anywaiz, what the hell happened towards the end of the episode. What happened with sofie's mother and what did she told lodz. Do we ever know what happen to sofie and jonesy? Sorry to say but if that was the season finale, they better have that all sorted out by next season. They also better keep sofie alive or else im not gonna be watching the show anymore. What first attracted me to this show is the wonderful clea was in it. If they kill her off in next season then this show will mean almost nothing to me.

They left the fate of Sophie, Jonsey, and Viggie Tales (Sophie's mom), as a cliff hanger. It was like all of the sudden she came to life in order to get Sophie closer so she could grab at her.
I have no idea what she told Lodz... I wonder if she is evil like him. And why do all these women do whatever he wants?? He's not cute... or rich...
I'm still stuck on the whole fetus in a jar thing. What ever happened to it? It was cute, and gross all at the same time. And also, is management a man or a women? Did they ever give it a sex??

Ok, We know that Lodz is dead cause Ruthie came back....But, I don't think that Apollina is evil like he was. I think that she knew something bad was going to happen within the carnivale and she didn't want sofie to be a part of it any longer. Her attempt to "save sofie" was to let her die with her mom. Weird and messed up, but i think that it was a way to save her from a worse fate.
I must say, I am quite impressed with sofie after this episode. The way she played libby and jonesy was truely inspiring. Messed up, but good for her, screwing those who screwed her first. Poor thing. I think that we should all give Clea a big hug to make up for all of the idiots who have walked all over her in this show. ::Clea::

I'm right there with you Linz....I loved what Sophie did to Libby and Jonsy. I had to laugh out loud when she made the date with Libby when I realized what was probably going to happen. I knew that she would probably confront them but I had no idea what she was going to do! :)
Now, does anyone know if Carnivale has indeed been picked up for another season? I don't think I've heard anything about it.

I haven't heard either way. The way HBO seems to be advertising... it seems as though it has been picked up.
If not, I could certainly see why. Everyone said it was going to be hard to follow at first... but did they mean like first couple of season?!

On HBO online Sunday night Clancy Brown (Brother Justin) and Nick Stahl (Ben Hawkins) did a live chat and asked everyone to come back and watch next season. So I am going to say that it has been picked up. The ratings got better as time went by so I'm not surprised. I personally love it. The confusion and frustration that is caused by the multiple ongoing plots. WOHOO!!!! I just hope that Sofie didn't die. I don't think she did, but I really hope they don't kill her off in an afterthought with the new season.
Oh, almost forgot...I heard 2nd season starts early 2005!
HBO stinks :(

Let's just hope it's not going to be like QAF and have each season with fewer episodes. Their first season had 24, second had like 20, and 3rd either 18 or 16!

HBO seasons usually run 13 episodes. Even their miniseries run that many. What I really hate is when HBO does the season every other year.... I can't stand that!
