Title: Dear Clea...
Description: Things you want to ask her
Linz - March 3, 2004 06:34 PM (GMT)
Hey everyone.
I was thinking about all of the questions that I have for Clea and was wondering what everyone else would ask her if they got a chance.
Normally I would write my questions here...but at the moment I can't think of any of them. I'll come back to answer my own question.
Keol - March 7, 2004 05:51 AM (GMT)
I would wanna ask her if i could take a picture of her, if she would autograph something. If there was a way for the average joe kinda fan to get a hold of her cause you know that there is so many address out there but nobody hasnt said that she's replied back or anything.
Pretty much obsessive fan questions.
Linz - March 9, 2004 09:18 PM (GMT)
That would be a good obssessive fan things to ask. I think that I would ask her stupid things like if you could have any part in any movies what role would you want and wy? Or...Do you ever want to direct/produce? why? Stuff that is lame like that. I would probably also ask her about favorite sneakers and clothing line.
Riley - March 10, 2004 12:30 AM (GMT)
I would ask her if she dies in Carnivale... (assuming I met her before the next season of course)
And, if by chance I met her after the next season of Carnivale... I think I would ask if she uses paper or plastic. Or I would ask if she'd ever purchased $20 worth of cornbread from Boston Market. Only because I would like to see her face after my inquiries.
Kate - March 10, 2004 07:34 AM (GMT)
^_^ Heheh - good one, Riley.
I think I would have to resort to the abstract, as well. Not because there aren't things I would like to ask, but just because they would most likely come out as "So, do you... like.... stuff?" - when that happens, I find it is best to say "What would happen if I applied anti-fungal cream to a mushroom?"
 It rarely helps the situation, but it gives people something to think about while they are desperately looking for the nearest exit.
Linz - March 10, 2004 04:55 PM (GMT)
LOL...isn't it interesting that all of us would probably love to meet her, but none of us could really think of anything remotlely unscary to ask her? I think that she might just run the other way from us...either that or she would be terribly intrigued and want to know more. ? ;)
Kate - March 11, 2004 08:07 AM (GMT)
I don't know if Clea has security... but I think if I ever spoke to her, she would just yell "Security" anyway, and then run away while I was striking my patented 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' poses.
:ph43r: They are very scary.
Linz - March 11, 2004 03:37 PM (GMT)
I would love to see the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon poses. Lol. Imagine what everyone around you would be doing...
"Ah....She's gonna lose it...RUNNNNNNN. LOL
Kate - March 12, 2004 12:03 PM (GMT)
Yes, most people do run away... in fear.... yehss
Sometimes people ask me if I was trained at Wudan, whereupon I say:
The Wudan master underestimated us women.
Sure, he'd sleep with me, but he
would never teach me. He deserved
to die by a woman's hand!
Then I throw poison toothpicks at everyone and run up the wall cackling. :ph43r:
Linz - March 12, 2004 05:54 PM (GMT)
LOL!!!!!
::rolling on floor laughing::
Ouch...my stomach hurts..::giggle giggle::
iloveclea - March 14, 2004 05:23 PM (GMT)
i think i'd try to play it cool and not be psycho-stalker-esque. i think i'd start telling her about tegan and sara and asking if she's heard their music, or if she wants me to burn her a cd or something like that. i'd try to act like i would with any random stranger i approach and start up conversations about unusual things. i'd have to try real hard not to be like "oh my gosh! i LOVE you clea! will you marry me!??!!!" and make her run as fast as she can possibly go. lol... :P
Toad_T - March 14, 2004 08:09 PM (GMT)
I totally love getting people into my music!
for the last two weeks I've been going on about Tegan and Sara to my friends constantly, and I think they're really sick of it. Too bad for them. Not planning on stopping.
I think it was more annoying in the beginning, though, when I just heard "Proud" and I didn't really know the lyrics, so I kept singing the "No, No, No" part for like three days staright....they hate me! :geek:
So, I'd WANT to ask her about the Pink rumours even though I probably shouldn't, because I'd want her to think I was kinda cool...but I'd be to starstuck to say anything at all. I'd probably be standing there like an idiot, and eventually start drooling...so she'd think I was retarded...
sloth - March 23, 2004 06:36 AM (GMT)
i did that when i first heard tegan and sara, my friends all hate them now cuz i was like 'tegan and sara blah blah blah' for like three weeks.
well, they miss out.
i dont think id actually ask clea any questions, id probably just dissolve into a big puddle of drool or start screamin 'omigod! omigod! omigod! clea i-omigod! are you-omigod! what does-omigod!'
and not finmish any of my sentences and shed think i was an escaped loony tunes or something.
im smooth.
Linz - March 24, 2004 07:32 PM (GMT)
Sloth yo uare so smooth. In reality I think that we would all end up doing that...but you are the only one who could admit it. Good for you!
Idle_Shit - March 31, 2004 10:22 PM (GMT)
I'd ask her to sign my arse, or somewhere a little less hairy  like my arm or something, so I could have her touch my skin, then I'd ask her where the nearest tattoo place was so I could have her name permantly on my skin...and for all those who think I'm just saying that, I actually did that with Avril lavigne and I still have her name on my back to this day.
Linz - April 1, 2004 12:06 AM (GMT)
It's funny...I have often thought about having her sign my left forearm and then getting tattooed right over it. My co-worker did that with Pantera on his left wrist...so on the inside of his wrist he has all of the members of Pantera tattooed there in a neat design that is about 2 inches wide and long. Seems smart to me.
Idle_Shit - April 2, 2004 10:42 PM (GMT)
There will be two people walking round with Clea DuVall tattoo's then  well I doubt I'll EVER get to meet her unless i become her personal stalker...hmmmm should be tricky from here though, I couldn't even get a bus to the airport to go out to the states to find her house and stand outside it in an anorak and a pair of banoculars. <_< Hmmmm
Kate - April 3, 2004 05:29 AM (GMT)
Sounds as if you have given this serious thought... :ph43r:
Don't forget a pair of sneakers... for sneaking.
Idle_Shit - April 3, 2004 04:04 PM (GMT)
lol yeh  what are sneakers???
Riley - April 4, 2004 05:12 AM (GMT)
BUTTERFLY..... BUTTERFLY....!!!!
...Sneakers.... <ahem> ... well here in the mid-west U. S. of A. they call them tennis shoes. Which I never understood really... because they can be used for so many other sports 'sides tennis. Like, basketball, and horseshoes, and croquet, and volleyball, and bocci ball, and poker, and track, and well I'm sure you get the photo....
On the east coast we call them sneakers... they are like Nike's, Adidas, Rebok, K Swiss... all those fun things. Rubber on the bottom, leather, mesh, ect on top. They usually lace... but when you're old (or really, really young for that matter) you can get velcro <sp?>.
There's my short dissertation on "sneakers". I'm here all week!!
Thank you.
Miss A. - April 4, 2004 11:11 AM (GMT)
They can also be known as Joggers too. But sneakers sound way more appropriate for sneaking.
Miss A. - April 4, 2004 11:24 AM (GMT)
Back to the topic of the thread, I probably wouldn't ask her about this, but it would be interesting to find out what Clea thought (if anything) of her fan base...
Idle_Shit - April 4, 2004 04:27 PM (GMT)
*going slightly off the topic again* OH so sneakers are American for Trainers? tip top. *goes back onto subject* Yeh it would be interesting to know if she ever surfs the net or whatever to see what people say about her, I probably would ask her that, if I could breathe... :w00t:
Crystie - April 4, 2004 04:54 PM (GMT)
Yea off topic. sneakers are like the only thing i wear when i have the choice. i dont have the choice in school or fancy restaurants etc. haha my favorite brands are nike, adidas, and saucony. but anyway yea meeting clea (which i almost did once...maybe?) would be like weird. i have met famous people before but i wasnt necessarily fans. i was like here, can you sign this? just another person wanting their autograph. clea would be soooo different cuz she is like my favorite person ever. i mean i heard she was really nice but really shy....well me too. i probably wouldnt know what to say to her...(::jaw drops wide open::) i would probably say something stupid like "are you clea duvall?" hahah. then say something else stupid and make her run away. im the best at freaking people out on first impressions :$
Idle_Shit - April 4, 2004 05:05 PM (GMT)
:D I tend to be dead confident when I meet famous people, maybe a little too confident, and I start talking utter poop, but like you I have met people who I am not a MASSIVE fan of, only person I have met that i really did like was Avril Lavigne, and all I managed to say was "avril you're my bitch" and "will you sign my back"
sloth - April 5, 2004 10:20 AM (GMT)
off topic, theyre called runners here in the land of oz, i normally wear skate shoes though (not that i can skate!)
avril you're my bitch?! hahahaha! howd she take that? thats cool!
i saw sarah jessica parker once, i didnt aske her to sign my back though cuz i was on a stupid ferry and by the time it had stopped shed left AND they=d managed to pack up the whole set.
ive decided that if i ever meet clea duvall i will ask her to sign my arm.
Miss A. - April 5, 2004 10:29 AM (GMT)
I don't think i would ask anyone to sign my arm or anything. Because unless you don't wash the area of signage and let it get really gross, or unless you get it tattooed, it wouldn't last for very long...
Linz - April 5, 2004 02:23 PM (GMT)
Sneakers are for sneaking!!! LOL I love that. (I am way off topic but that's ok. I'm a little slow)
Idle_Shit - April 5, 2004 09:58 PM (GMT)
WHen I told avril she was my bitch she just smiled at me... better than getting a punch in the gob. I wouldn't even think twice about getting Clea's autograph tattooed to me, It would be an instant reaction to go to the nearest tattoo parlour and get it covered. I was thinking of getting an artist friend of mine to design a tattoo with clea's face on it.
