ok so i just watched Ghosts of Mars cuz it was on tv. wow that must have been the most disturbing Clea movie i have ever seen. i mean if its not enough to hang the decapitated bodies then its enough to put the heads on sticks outside. and the leader of the pack of freaky people was so scary.

SPOILER: they didnt show clea getting decapitated...they just showed the blade right about to go thru her neck.

But overall....clea kicked some major mars guys butt. but they always made everything in the movie that went wrong seem that it was her fault. mean people....not the best hair in the movie either but it was still nice to see clea kick some butt :) ......weirdo movie tho. if u havent seen it and u wanna be freaked out by weirdo martians....be my guest but if not i dont reccommend seeing it. what did everyone else think of it?

I bought it so I could have it for my collection and watched like, a half an hour and then turned it off. Not because it was graphic or gory or anything but because I was bored. I was more interested by the making of stuff... when they show Clea marking out her fight scene, she looks like a hard ass. LOL.

last night i saw a commercial for it on tv and i meant to set my vcr to tape it tonight, but my drunk ass forgot. :/ i just wanted to see clea in a movie i haven't seen yet. oh well. maybe the next time it comes on i won't be as drunk or such a dumbass and forget! i even sent myself an email to remember and i still forgot! oh man... oh well!

I am going to hire it tomorrow. I just have to see for myself... I am looking forward to the extras. :yes:

I only rented Ghosts of Mars for the Clea factor.
As a whole, this movie sucked.

I stopped watching after the decapitation incident. And i fast forwarded through the non-Clea bits.

John Carpenter would be rolling in his grave... if he were on this board... and dead.

I hired it. I watched it. I returned it.

It was OK, but how many holes are there in the plot! God good. Also, what is the deal with the flashblack, within a flashback, within a flashback? How many people have to tell their story in flashback before time folds in on itself?

The special features were the best part, and when I saw Clea yawn on set, I was like "Yeh, I'm with you there, Sister" ... and yeh, you're right Graham, Clea's fight blocking was the shit.

If Clea wasn't in it, I woudn't have made it past the first act. When Ice Cube called her character a dyke I annoyed everyone in the room by rewinding it because no one believed me... but there were heaps of allusions to gaiety in there.

as a matter of fact, I do like j.carpenter films. they r B movies, I know that, but that's what makes them enjoyable 2 me. j.c. makes the likable horror-flicks which make me laught when watching. I bought the film because of the director, C.D. and Pam Grier (2 little screen time in my opinion). Clea D. looking really good in that film, although she could have played a stronger part but hey, it's a horror flick so what could we expect? ;)

So I didn't get the oppertunity to put my two cents in yet....

I own the movie...I think it is horrible, yet I love it. LOL. I would never tell anyoine to watch it. ANd I don't really ever Choose to watch it. But whenever it is on I feel like I NEED to watch it...so I do. Weird I know. Clea is great in it and my take on the "Dyke" comment is that there are a lot of lesbians in the future. LOL...or maybe that is just wishful thinking. :angel:

I think human-hating aliens for an increased lesbian population is a fair trade off.
