ok so i know this guy. and he is like really into me..well my friends think that. so he flirts and so forth and he is sooo sweet and stuff. so a couple weeks ago he asked me if i wanted to see 50 first dates with him...which came out the day before valentines day. so i was like sure. so he talks to me like a week ago and hes like are we still on to see the movie? so i was like yea, when. and he was like how about friday, cuz we had off this whole week. so he goes, oh i hafta go but ill definitely talk to you before friday to tell you all the specifics and so forth. now, you can ask my friends, i am online 24/7. when i had to leave i would get a friend to stay on the lookout to see if he came on. he never came online...i dont know what to do now. im gonna ask him on monday what was up but if he gives an excuse i dont know whether to believe him or disregard it....any advice?

Let me get this straight. You were going to go out on Friday and he was going to talk to you before Friday but Friday came and went? Right? Okay. So he stood you up. Well, first things first.... Chill out. Honestly. Guys are not into uptight, clingy girls and the fun is gone when they know a girl is into him. And if you freak out over something like a first date, it's a big turn off. And if he knows that you sat around waiting for him, you look lame. Just be cool and let him approach you. And when you do talk to him, just be cool. Wait till he brings it up and be like, "Oh, no big deal. I went out with my friends, anyway." Or.... be like, "Hey, sorry I wasn't around on Friday. Did you try to get in touch with me... cuz something came up and I went out." And make him think you think you stood him up. LOL.

Heh good idea. its just that this kid has given out ALL the clues and it had taken him forever to make the move so when he finally did and then stood me up i was like oh um ok. im not gonna tell him that i waited around for him to do it cuz #1 that will probably make him feel bad and #2 that will make me look like a loser with no friends hehe. but its just that i got so pissed cuz i havent been on a date in the longest time and when i finally got all excited about having one...it came and went. im not gonna go up to him tomorrow and be like where the hell were you...im not the kind of girl to do that. ya see theres somethin u gotta understand about Crystie. Crystie talks big but does nothing (did i just refer to myself in the 3rd person? hmm) so im not gonna dwell on this. we'll just re-plan everything. if he stands me up twice then forget him. thanks tho graham. ^_^

ok update on the guy. i was talking to my friend today and he came up to me and he was like oh sorry i couldnt go to the movies with u friday night, my little brother had a concussion snowboarding. so i was like oh thats ok, i went out with other friends anyway...hmm he kinda looked mad but thats ok. so later in the day he came up to me like "so you still wanna see the movie with me" so i was like sure so were planning for...whatever is next.

Good! Yey! See it worked out... he didn't really stand you up and by telling him that you made other plans, he sees that you weren't just sitting around waiting for him and that other people are interested in you and stuff.... yey! Good job!
