Alright, so i'm a little weary to ask this, but i thought why the hell not, so here goes:
I recently broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years and by recently i mean a few months. I'm ready to get myself back out there, but i was never too good with talking to people in the first place, so im wondering if you have any tips on how to break the ice and go dating and things. Anybody?
Either that, or anyone on the board want to hook up? Right..thought not, just the advice the please.

Well...you don't mention your age but if you could go to like a place where people your age like hang out and if you come off as sweet to girls then they will talk to you. sometimes girls mistaken shy guys as stuck up guys and you dont want that. maybe go with a few guy friends of yours and make them meet girls and tell them to ask the girls if they have friends...just a thought. but i know where you're coming from..its hard to do.

Yeah, Fuzz, how old are you? Old enough to go to bars? Well... that doesn't really matter cuz I think bars are not the greatest place to meet people. Are you in college? Find the campus gay and lesbian club....
Or assuming none of these are options... turn to the internet. Sounds lame, I know, but try it. I met my girlfriend online and we've been together for two years and live together and all that, so it can happen. We just randomly met, though, we weren't like on a dating page. But a great place to meet people is planetout.com. It's free, first of all, and you fill out some info about yourself and about who you want to find, like their age, location, whatever... And you can just find people in your area that are you age and at least you'll have some local lezzies to talk to. And if you make some friends, maybe you can meet in a safe place and maybe you'll hit it off... who knows?
But other than that... I don't have a lot of ideas...

I would be 22, so yes, old enough to go to bars and clubs. I'm not in College exactly. I'm doing vocational courses and training so i have to go occasionally, but not everyday. I will try what you say though, probably just scout around for some groups or something and see what happens. Thanks for all your help though, ill keep you posted on the results.

Hey Fuzz, get down to ASDA on a Tuesday night ;) Lots of single people do their shopping so get a big trolley and start bumping :w00t:
