Title: Scary Movie 2?
Description: Natasha Lyonne?

Lemming - February 1, 2004 12:14 PM (GMT)
I watched Scary Movie 2 yesterday and it said Natasha was in the film. Being as curious as i am, i watched it again, and discovered her playing a character calld Megan (a rip on the Exorcist's Regan) Anyway, much to my enjoyment, another familiar face from But Im A Cheerleader popped up.
You know the two gay men who help them get to the bar? Well the bigger one out of the two, the quite gruff one really, plays the insane ghost who haunts the hause.
Hugh Kane is his name in the film. Just wondering if y'all noticed that to?

((Also, sorry if this is the wrong board to post it on,but it has Clea references..she was in but im a cheerleader to, you know))

Dr. Nick - February 1, 2004 12:34 PM (GMT)
^_^ Richard Moll? For sure, I recognize him always, since he played Gino on Al Bundy :P (you know, he's 6' 8" (2.03m), and the scenes with David Faustino were so funny  ).

Lemming - February 1, 2004 02:36 PM (GMT)
Richard Moll? I didnt know that was his name. So it was him in Scary Movie 2, i thought my eyes were deceiving me. 6'8"? Wow, that is huge, im only like 5'5".

iloveclea - February 2, 2004 04:35 AM (GMT)
6'8"... that is pretty tall. i'm 5'7 and 3/4" and i generally feel like i'm on the taller end of average, and i have a few friends (basketball players) that are 7'2" and one is 7'3"... they are REALLY tall and have to duck through doorways. i feel super short next to them... but then i stand next to my shorter friends, and i don't feel so midget-like next to my giant friends ;)

Just to make you feel better... here's another vaguely Clea-related tidbit:

The cheerleader-hating dude from the first episode of Popular that Clea was in, is in Underworld as a hospital inturn with Scott Speedman. Personally, I hope that his career has peaked at that, but whatever!

Miss A. - February 2, 2004 08:54 AM (GMT)
That guy was also in an episode of Buffy...

Kate - February 2, 2004 09:02 AM (GMT)
Is that so?

Hey, Rachel - it says that it's the final of popular on Thursday or Friday, and I think Clea's episode is the second last in the series, so keep an eye out.

Miss A. - February 2, 2004 09:10 AM (GMT)
Yeah, thanks! I'm pretty sure it's on Thursday. If the tv guide was correct, they are playing a two hour episode. It's the week where i am not at home on Thursday before two...ima have to work out how to use the g-code. Have you seen 21 Grams yet? They seem to be only playing it at the larger cinemas :(

Kate - February 2, 2004 09:49 AM (GMT)
Ok, Thursday - good! I am anticipating more "I Like Pie" moments.

Hmm, you being all central coast, and me being all Sydney - I don't know what your cinema situation is... Around my area, it's only on at Broadway and Fox Studios at the moment.

I'll be buggered if I am going in to Fox to watch it! Oh, alright, yeh I probably will.

Crystie - February 3, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
hey everyone..i never heard of "popular" before clea was on it but do u guys know what network its on? i want to watch it this thursday! thanks :D

Kate - February 3, 2004 07:29 AM (GMT)
Ohh, Crystie - sorry, it's on the Seven network... in Australia. I am sure someone from your neck of the Glen can tell you how to catch it though.

If they can't, I will shoot you a tape. Just give the word.

Crystie - February 4, 2004 12:44 AM (GMT)
hmm yea i havent seen it on any tv guide here...that would be great if u could but you dont have to...im sure it will pop up somewhere :)

Not Clea related at all... but...

Does anyone remember that old Nickelodeon show "You Can't Do That on Television"... they used to do the thing towards the end when they were all in lockers and would be like... "Hey Alex..."

This tread kind of reminded me of that...

...then I found five dollars....

iloveclea - February 4, 2004 03:24 AM (GMT)
i used to love that show!!! but my parents didn't want me watching it, so i kinda had to sneak away to watch it and huddle real close to the tv with the volume all soft. somehow, i didn't think this was suspicious at all! lol...

Riley - February 4, 2004 04:29 AM (GMT)
HAHAHAHA that's funny. My parents wouldn't let me watch it either. They didn't like Barf... the hamburger place guy. They used to get mad when the kids threw up. (Crazy parents!) I would have to watch it at my cousins... ^_^

Sneaky little kids we were... :)

Crys - February 4, 2004 06:00 AM (GMT)
Man, that was one of the best shows Nickelodeon ever had. I wish it was still on. Even though I probably wouldn't find it nearly as funny, heheh.

I miss old school Nickelodeon. Dangermouse. Count Duckula.

Kate - February 4, 2004 06:42 AM (GMT)
Oh man, I used to love that show. I think I had a thing for Alistair.

It was so hilarious how they couldn't say "water" or "I don't know"
Why can't TV writing be that sharp today?

My parents disapproved of it, also. I still use the expression "Wait a minute, Wait a minute, stop the execution" and various others - good times.

GrahamEaton - February 4, 2004 04:23 PM (GMT)
My parents didn't like me watching it either. What was it about that show? I'm a lil different from y'all though.... I didn't want to watch it myself. Not like I thought it was boring but like I was a lil freaked out by it.

Dash - February 5, 2004 10:57 PM (GMT)
My parents didn't mind me watching that show. All part of the childhood.
That, Metal Mickey and Young Talent Time.

Oh Dear God...
:$

Kate - February 6, 2004 07:38 AM (GMT)
What is Metal Mickey?

:$ :$ I had YTT trading cards... I think I was a bit obsessed.

Dash - February 6, 2004 11:12 AM (GMT)
We had a YTT magazine that fell apart from being read so much. I had the trading cards too. Australian child of the 80's - we all had the YTT cards.

Metal Mickey was a UK show about a robot. It was around when I was about two. I must be remembering watching repeats. Doubt that I can remember watching it when I was that age.

Does anybody from the UK remember this show? Here's a pic

Oh! Metal Mickey! That picture brought it all back.

I still have the YYT Magazine somewhere. Did you have the boardgame? Or any of the instruments? That was a bit of a merchandising empire, right there.

The Boardgame? No! B)
I never went that far! The instruments? erm, what are they? Plastic mini guitars with pictures of Beven on them?

Anyway, what was the original title of this post? Scary Movie 2?
...Still haven't seen it

:o Well, why don't I shut my big YYT loving mouth then! :(

 Beven rocks!

Dash - February 8, 2004 12:26 AM (GMT)
Awwww :/
Sorry mate. Beven does rock.
Guys today just can't carry the look of lemon slacks and skinny ties.

Riley - February 8, 2004 04:01 AM (GMT)
Should I look the Beven fella up or what?

Kate - February 9, 2004 10:48 AM (GMT)
No need, Ms Riley. Check this out!
Beven is on the right (yes, the one that looks like a scared lamb)

The girl on his left is Danii Minogue (I can't remember the blond dude's name - it's probably Greg)

Riley - February 11, 2004 12:09 PM (GMT)
That's hilarious...

I think I've found a new obsession...

GrahamEaton - February 10, 2004 05:27 PM (GMT)
That is just a lil bit terrifying.

Kate - February 11, 2004 07:40 AM (GMT)
^_^ Yes, but once the terror has passed, you find yourself in a world where everything is Beven - which is my latest expression "Everything's Beven"

Dash - February 12, 2004 11:55 PM (GMT)
I'm not going to ask you where you got that old YTT photo.
I think it was Greg (the other boy) I liked him...then I got over it.

Riley & Graham...feel free to buy the DVD. You'll be singing "All My Loving" in no time!!

Riley - February 13, 2004 03:01 AM (GMT)
I might have to do that, what with my new region free DVD player and all... ^_^

Kate - February 13, 2004 08:09 AM (GMT)
Yeh, Dash, it's probably better that you don't ask where I got the photo from. Let's just say there are some freaky fansites around the place, throw a smoke bomb, and disappear...

"Gudnight A-strayaaa!"
