dtsHurricane - November 26, 2003 12:15 AM (GMT)

GrahamEaton - November 26, 2003 05:11 AM (GMT)

emma - November 26, 2003 08:53 AM (GMT)
i'll have to agree with graham, i think im liking it alot, i will have to go see it when it finally comes out (in australia). but i dont know, can it compete with the hair in her face from biac???
Cleaduvallslover - November 26, 2003 10:18 PM (GMT)
Mmmm she is looking hot....But still love the BIAC hairstyle, it just adds to the whole sex appeal in that film.

she looks too...clean...with that hair. not like she is dirty with shorter hair. she is fucking hot no matter what. but she just looks too polished...or something that makes more sense...in that picture.

Has anyone seen this movie?
CleaDfinns5 - December 22, 2003 05:47 PM (GMT)
:P Ohhhhhh, I'm definitely liking the long hair on her. It makes her look so much different but I still like it a lot. I love her face in any of her movies. She just has some appeal to her overall that catches your eye and then when you see her go girl attitude it's like BING! something goes off in your brain and says, hey who do we have here :) Me Likey :D
sofiecarny - December 22, 2003 08:16 PM (GMT)
i DON'T like the long hair at all... :(
very generic look.
the short hair was HER look!

 That's exactly what I think! Thanks - so I'm not alone with my opinion ...
Cleaduvallslover - December 22, 2003 10:11 PM (GMT)
The short hair suits Clea's jawline better I think, this is just my opinion, im not a hairdresser or anything. lmao. But I just think she looks hotter and more suited to short hair and Jeans, trousers.
:P

i too love the short hair, but the longer hair shows her growth, and i think it makes her look like she has come along way and very beautiful.

I am in definite agreement. Don't get me wrong... I love her short dark hair falling in front of the eyes look. It was one of the biggest things that turned me on about Clea. :) But this hairstyle in 21 Grams is majorly hot, too. And I completely agree: it makes her look older, more mature, a little more.... grown, stable.... I don't know. It's a different look but you know, it is just a character after all....

Review: '21 Grams' Weighs Heavy On Your Emotions
Director Of 'Amores Perros' Again Uses Car Accident To Propel Story
POSTED: 12:11 p.m. EST December 19, 2003
'21 Grams' ® (out of four popcorns)
"They say we all lose 21 grams at the exact moment of our death ... everyone. The weight of a stack of nickels. The weight of a chocolate bar. The weight of a hummingbird."
So begins a disturbing, bleak and stirring story of how just one brief moment can change the lives of many people who don't even know each other.
But what is that 21 grams? Is it the weight of a soul? Is it lost bodily fluids? Is it the release of air and gases after death? Or is it the weight of the world we have been carrying on our shoulders?
There are no easy answers in the English language film by Academy Award-nominated director of "Amores Perros," Alejandro González Iñárritu. But there are plenty of gritty performances by powerhouse actors like Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Naomi Watts, Melissa Leo and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
In two of the three initial stories, the characters have overcome incredibly bad choices and their lives seem to be on the right track. In the third story, a couple is hoping for a miracle.
Their lives intersect in the wake of a gruesome and heartwrenching accident in which a man and his two children are run over by a car.
Penn is Paul Rivers, a mathematician whose heart is failing him and desperately needs a transplant to survive. His wife, Mary, (Gainsbourg) is desperately trying to hang on to any part of him she can by trying to get pregnant.
Watts is Cristina Peck, a former addict who finally has everything she has dreamed of -- a husband, two young daughters and a cozy home. But then comes the call we are all terrified of getting.
Del Toro is an ex-con who has escaped his past by clinging to religion and strictly using its precepts to run his life and the life of his family. But his past can never be put behind him and he loses his job because of prejudice over ex-cons. His despair is the catalyst that changes the lives of everyone in the movie.
"21 Grams" is the kind of movie you need to pay close attention to. It is a patchwork quilt of scenes, alternating between several different time periods. A scene that may be confusing at first, later makes sense in context. But the connections are not always clear and even when the screen fades to black, you will probably have questions about what really happened.
The washed out cinematography adds to the sickly unease you feel as the stories unfold. Iñárritu is a director who has his own distinctive style and just seems to get better. When a director's first film is nominated for an Academy Award, you know he is a creative force to watch, and "21 Grams" reinforces that idea.
You may not be entertained if you decide to see "21 Grams," but you will be witness to a challenging film that makes you question how much guilt, love and revenge weigh in your own life.

i'm going to wait till i see the movie to decide if i like her with longer hair better. in the picture, it does make her look very generic and she does kind of lose her "look". but like i said, i'm going to make my decision after i see the movie. i'll let you all know how it is after i see it!

ok maybe more than 2 minutes, but i cld count on one hand the number of scenes she was in...she was v good in her scenes
yep, non linear storyline like memento..
naomi watts was AMAZING , as were del toro and sean penn, look for oscar noms for all 3
Cleaduvallslover - January 12, 2004 09:25 PM (GMT)
I loved Naomi Watts in Mulholland Drive, Now there is a weird movie, You seen it?
Im still talking about Identity though at the moment, one of the best movies I have seen In a while, not just for Clea, the whole package was just amazing. Everytime you watch it, you get a different outlook on the movie.I love movies like that, they are what movies are all about, If a movie gets you thinking like that and talking about the film for ages afterwards then the writer, director actors etc have done theyre jobs, dont you think, I so dont understand people who just watch film without realising what goes into production.
Anyway Cant wait for 21 to hit Uk.

I'm still waiting for 21 Grams to hit Indianapolis, IN... instead of driving to buttfucking Egypt (i.e. Kokomo, IN) to see it. :ermm:
Crystie - January 12, 2004 11:15 PM (GMT)
Clea looks really amazing both ways cuz thats like who she is..shes just so beautiful. if i really had to choose i would pick the shorter hair cuz that just seems like it fits her face. the hair falling in the eyes is dead sexy in biac...i love it. so what im going with is shorter :D
