international press academy? where on earth did they come from??

sounds suspiciously like the 90 odd foriegn journalists who decide on the G Globes.. ( that has to be one of the most fraud awards out there!- i guess the mooviestars like to dress up and go these shows and be on TV, thats the only reason the globes are important)- Ok end of my rant on the GG

the only important movie awards show is the independant spirit award.. by IFC channel.- they have it in a tent and everyone is all casually dressed..check it out on IFC in feb/march- ok end of my plug for the ISA

anyhow carnivale is nominated for SOMETHING! so its all good B)

Clea should have been nominated for best supp actress i think.. she has been outstanding in this series,..

It is not the golden globes. It looks like the same list of the Golden Globes (website) just adding Carnivale to the list I guess.
I thought it was the GG...but I guess Im Wrong. Either way they were nominated for something though. Maybe next year the GGs!

i just meant that they were not nominated even for a single category for the GG's,, don;t now why? since they nominated Angels in America, which came out after carnivale..

maybe the subject matter was too obtuse for the foriegn press covering hollywood( who give out the GG's)??

Yes thats a good point. I thought you knew why carnivale wasnt named at the GG.

who knows why they didnt pick carnivale...oh well maybe next year

silly golden globes they obviously dont know good tv when they see it.
