Okay everybody, since the presidential election is only about nine days away, and since Chao Paradise was just barely around for the last presidential election, I thought that the reason for the creation of this poll would go without saying. The candidates' websites are here, if you want to see some of their views on issues and yadda yadda yadda:

-give us a reason for why you are voting for that candidate (you don't have to, it'd just be nice to hear people's opinions)
-and when you do give us your reason, please DO NOT ARGUE WITH OTHER MEMBERS ABOUT WHY SO AND SO IS BETTER! Or whatever! A polite debate is fine, but please do not flame the said member or the candidate they are supporting. It'd be a shame if, for the few days that this topic is open/active, we have a gigantic flame war in here. :\ Politics are a touchy subject, I'm aware, so I'm asking you who vote and reply to be aware, as well.
This is just for fun! So let's have fun with it while we're in the final stretch of the election.

I can't vote. The lesser of two evils, in my opinion, would probably be Obama.
If but I could vote, I would vote for Mike Gravel. But I don't think he's even running as an Independent candidate, which kinda sucks.

McCain. Let's see, community organizer with 2 years in the senate, or an ex Naval Captain with 30 years in the senate? There are probably a billion other reasons why I prefer McCain, but that's probably the most basic. I'm also not going to pee blood if Obama wins though. He's a good guy, I just wouldn't want him as President.

Well, I'll keep this poll open since some might want to still voice their opinion, but officially, as of tonight, Barack Obama made history as the 44th president of the United States of America and our first African-American president. Thanks to everyone who voted; it was an exciting election year! :)
