I want to know who is the best assistant in the assist trophies.
I think it is the ninjas... I don't know their names.. I think it's Saki
or something.
My favourite is Jill, even though she can't do much with her drill and Barbara, the musician. I just like seeing them on the scene...
And...
What is the most powerful pokemon?
Is it Entei? or is it that whale who washes everyone away?
Kero - October 15, 2008 02:50 PM (GMT)
Moltres or Entei I would consider to be the most powerful, but I usually only play with mushrooms (ku ku kuuu...).
Dr. Wright has to be somewhat of use, as it's a very predictable and avoidable Assist. Original Sim City ftw.

The one-hit-kill girl from Fire Emblem.

She's easy to dodge if you time it right. But it will only let you dodge if you are made of win. I guess that's why I've always been able to do it. (Self-centered much?)
But honestly, if you can't dodge her attack, she's one of the best.

Oh all right. Anyone over here completed Brawl 100%?
Meaning ALL NOTICES? (Notices are stored under data, records)
Or I wonder if anyone can give me some advice. You see, guys.. :>.>
I've got to clear Boss Battles on Intense difficulty, I use DK and the furthest I get is usually 8 bosses and I never reach Tabuu on intense.
I'm only this one step away from total completion. Anyone got any strategies or tips for Boss Battles on Intense difficulty with Donkey Kong?
I also don't know how to dodge Tabuu's dark waves (when he opens his wings and fires three rings)
someone told me sidestep dodge, but how's that done??
Kero - October 21, 2008 09:02 PM (GMT)
Tabuu's waves can be dodged if you hold down your shield button and tap down or up. They sidestep without rolling. That's when they flash. DK has too much knockback going for him than he does damage, so I'm not quite too fond of him for Boss Battles. Charizard's Rock Smash pwnz if you can get that close. And being my fave, Dedede has his ranged attacks for the bosses that require it. Tabuu is a oain, though, as those waves are often one-hit-kills.

I actually got up to Tabuu yesterday. I dodged two of his waves, and then I suddenly went crazy (I was happy), but then the third wave KO'd me.
*sigh*
I got there with DK.
Oh yeah, I did use DeDeDe once but he is veerry Slooow. Can't say I will ever pass with him. As for Charizard.. Okay, I guess I'll try him next.
So you've actually beaten Tabuu, right??

Eh, not on Intense, but the mechanics are the same; launch resistance is lowered as well as damage resistance. Dedede can be pretty fast and unpredictable if you use him just right.
Pokemon Trainer can be pretty cheap, seeing as though you can avoid attacks with Down+B to change Pokemon.

I've done it. I BEAT Tabuu on intense. I finally got the Galleom ''Tank Form'' trophy. I used DK and I just dodged his waves successfully, thanks for the tip.
IT IS A ONE HIT KILL IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS:
On each wave he fires, (hold the shield first). Press the Control stick down-
You will not suffer any damage...
By the way, ''Shield+Up (Control stick)'' is not a dodge.
You do not have to use DK. But I am really good with him, so I DK everything.
I DK'd Target tests with him
I DK'd Classic on intense with him
I even DK'd All Star on Intense...
I DK'd many players in Versus mode...
I DK'd the Subspace emissary all levels on intense with DK as one of my players.
His Up+B and other aerial A and B moves are incredibly useful on Boss Battles...
for me anyway.
USE YOUR BEST CHARACTER; WHO DO YOU USE THE MOST IN EVERYTHING??

Bah, the dark wave is incredibly easy to dodge once you get the timing. I actually find it a respite from his other attacks, because it means a few seconds of 95% certain survival. The one that gets me is the chains. I HATE the chains. The explosive teleport (if only because it looks just like normal teleport) and the golden jaws of death aren't much fun either.
Intense is actually significantly different from the other modes because there's such a jump in difficulty. Up to Very Hard just whaling on the bosses and killing them before they can do much damage is a viable strategy, but it doesn't work in intense because most of them have moves that can insta gyp you.
Personally, I find Zelda/DK tag team to be a brutally effective combo, as long as you have a friend as skilled as you are. Din's Fire is great for keeping your distance, Ground Pound really puts the hurt on non flying bosses, and Zelda's death heel almost always connects against large targets.

I got it!!
Hey.. but I did Smash Bros Brawl almost all alone. I even did most Co op events (eventually) alone. All event matches are completed on the Hard difficulty..
I've noticed something probably no one else has noticed. On intense Boss battles, say for example if Rayquaza was your first boss he will be slower in his speed compared to his speed if you met him a bit later in Boss Battles. For instance, I found him to be a lot more faster one day when he was Boss number 09, before Tabuu.
You don't believe me?
All right. Begin Boss battles and beat Boss 01. Quit after the first Boss. Play Boss battles again, if Boss 01 shows up again first, quit.. but if you meet this boss again at number 08 or 09, you'll be astonished at his speed!
anyway,
I've done everything.. now a new problem has arisen:
collect all stickers
I'm at 699. I've tried for weeks. The last sticker never seems to appear. Is it possible to delete all data and next time use a Hammer on this challenge? :>.>
