I broke my ankle and tore two ligaments in my foot last Sunday!

And I'm outta hockey for at about 16 weeks. And I was supposed to be Captain, dammit.

I just found out I have 8 cavities? Also, I started my second year of college. Which is hardly interesting, but meh.

But it's okay; my teeth are strong as hell and I haven't felt any of these cavities yet.

Woah, that beats mine by a lot... I couldn't feel mine (except when I would drink something sweet like Big Red - which is probably why I got them, drink that soda way too much. Fortunately, I rarely eat candy), though I hadn't been to the dentist in two years and I had poor dental hygiene habits, so I saw it coming, I guess.

That'll do it. I used to stay at a friend's house all the time and all they had to drink was Mountain Dew. The Cavitymaker!

I think I'm addicted to brushing my teeth. o_o; I brush after every meal because I have braces, except for the meals (actually, meal) that I have at school, because despite what my orthodontist says, I am NOT taking a toothbrush to school. Dx Anyhooooo... I won't be getting a cavity anytime soon.

Well, actually, apparently your gums might be in danger if you have asthma and breathe through your mouth most of the time, even if you do brush your teeth often. My dental hygienist told me that it leaves your gums open to bacteria and stuff like that. Also, some medications make your gums dryer, i.e. Synthroid. So you might be prescribed with having to rinse with mouthwash + hydrogen peroxide, and then with water + salt, if those two medical issues are the case. Though that would be an issue with gingivitis and not cavities..

And notice how I said anytime soon. xD So far my orthodontist and dentist have told me I'm fine when it comes to cavities and stuff. I might get one someday, though. Probably not in the near future though... or maybe I'm jinxing myself. O_O;

And DCD, I didn't know that... that's interesting. Thanks for telling me that. Actually, the last time I went to the dentist, my dentist did end up recommending a mouthwash... minty fresh. :D
