With under 100 days till the films release - on August 14, 2008, Warner Brothers in a press release announced that they decided to switch the release date to next year. The release date has been rescheduled from November 21, 2008, to July 17th, 2009.

This sucks. Most of us were looking forward to it in November, and now we have to wait for it even longer.

I didn't know people actually cared.

Not a Potter fan myself, but considering that they typically hold movies back to work on them, wouldn't this delay mean that they were trying to make the movie better?

And you shouldn't just deal with it?
