Obviously Shadow with guns is about 10x worse, but what the hell is wrong with Sonic Team? Swords? For a character that has body parts that can already impale people? Hopefully Sonic Unleashed will make up for this for returning to (mainly) 2-D platforming bliss.

...Whatever happened to the great games like the Sonic Adventures...? D: Now SEGA is really running out of creative ideas for Sonic games. @_@ I think I cried a little inside when I played Sonic and the Secret Rings or whatever it's called for the first time. :'(

Sadly, I will probably end up renting this game...mostly because I am a hollow fanboy shell of a man. I will also probably end up killing a huge part of my childhood nostalgia, and end up in the fetal position, sobbing with a Genesis controller in my pants while I play classic Sonic the Hedgehog on an emulator.

Honestly, I think this could be a good game. I don't mind a sword fight here or there, but as long as they keep the high speed levels, it MAY be good.
