Title: Hey Fags
Lance - July 10, 2008 05:06 AM (GMT)
I'm not going to be able to spend a lot of time on CP anymore, so I would just like to say that if you actually like to read my posts, it would be best to visit the Gaming Reviews section.
Check dat shit out. *Lance would also like to note the irony in the title of this thread

*blinks at title name in surprise* Oh... erm... okay. Sorry to hear that, Lance. and I'll be sure to check out the gaming review topic; I saw it yesterday, then thought, "Darn, he didn't even put any reviews up yet!"
If you don't mind me asking, is there a particular reason you won't be as active?

It's a known fact if you use something obscure or slurry in your title, it is bound to gain more attention than other threads. This is actually used in corporations and small businesses to intrigue your interests and to make you investigate to see what the whole shadig is about, even if the taglines are an insult. Like the Rich Jerk, for example (whose name shall go without revealing) says:

Let's get something straight. I'm a jerk. I'm obnoxious. And I'm lazy.
And I don’t care, because I'm FILTHY RICH.
I'm much too important to even be sitting here writing this right now. So I'll keep it short.
I make several million dollars every year on the internet, doing almost nothing. You can see some proof here but please keep the drooling to a minimum.
Have you seen proof like that anywhere else? Didn't think so.
Do you make that much money? Didn't think so. |
Using lines like that sparks interest and draws customers in further. Sorry for giving a lecture, but if you think of it, it's true.
For instance, which would you read first: "Hey Fags" or "Hello Gentlemen of the Chao Paradise Community?" THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL, DON'T ANSWER IT.

As for why I won't be active, well, mainly just preoccupied with sports, friends what are those?, and a lot of other things.
And for my reviews, a lot of the references and metaphors I use in there are for comedic effect. Don't flip out because I said the population of Japan is composed of xenophobes. No numerical scores either, so you'll actually have to READ the reviews, heaven forbid.
