It's the dead of night. You have no idea how you got here, or where you are for that matter. Everything seems to be out to get you in this evil place. The location is disclosed, but is only known as "The red palace."
This place is rumored to have invaluable treasure in it's walls. if you can survive the traps and beasts on the way there.
Made to look like a hotel, Long hallways seem to stretch on for miles, and a door could be just painted on, or it could lead to another part of the building. Red eyes seem to stare out at you from holes in the wall, and each room is marked by the number 666.
The first floor is simply a lobby. but there's just one thing, lobbys don't have nooses hanging from the ceilings with dead bodies occupying a few of them. and lobbys don't have secretaries with their eyes gouged out and their face stuck in a silent scream.
The elevator has blood prints all over its walls. But not human. It's unclear what made them, but some indication might be the inhuman skulls laying on the floor around you. And if you decide to take the stairs, you might find yourself stumbling down into the basement, as the stairs drop out and reassemble themselves.
The basement is a maze of mirrors, each mirror you gaze into magnifies a negative emotion. will you look into a mirror and scream out of fear even though you just see yourself? Or will you wither away into nothing from inadequatness? even worse, the mirrors don't hold you in. if you step through one, you become what you see. twisting your shape into some horrible beast. A soulless beast inhabits this floor. he blocks the escape to the lobby again. This creature is on all 4s, only it's hind legs are twisted around to it's front, and it's front legs are bent behind it. If it could stand up, it would look like a 30 foot human. Without a face.
The 2nd floor seems normal enough, but the floor seems to breathe under your feet. and every door you knock on is responded by demonic laughter. if you have enough courage, you can look through the keyhole of these doors to see flashbacks from your past. The hallways are as long as labyrinths, and the walls seem to close in on you, only for you to discover they're not moving at all. The beast that dominates this floor is a hybrid of failed experiments. It looks almost like a spider with the paws of a lion and a long tounge to match. It's upper-body is man-like but it's left arm is stretched out into a tentacle-like appendage with teeth on the end. a long stalk comes from it's back with a second mouth on the end. Around this mouth are two lunar scythe blades, substituting for mandibles.
The 3rd floor is pitch dark with unseen dangers. pitfalls, bear traps, swinging scythes, and the ghosts of the forsaken doomed to wander the endless hallways, their screams of madness and terror echoing off of the walls unheard by anyone on the outside. The beast here Takes the form of lost loved ones. accusing anyone on this floor of their doing resulting in the death of the loved one they see before them. after a few harsh words, the beast takes it's true form. Shifting into your worst fear in a twisted nightmarish form.
The 4th floor is the last floor before the treasure room. It too is pitch black, with mindless beasts running around the area. these beasts are derived from your negative emotions. They take the form in what you lust for, what you are afraid of, and what you deny. in a beast-like form. Say you were afraid of a mental institute. then you would see an insane person with his arms folded around him as if he was in a straitjacket. No beast on this floor has a face. The 4th floor is designed in a castle-like manner. It is bigger on the inside than it is on the inside.
The caretaker himself roams this floor. He is known by the name of Mr. Samuel. He has owned this hellish hotel for at least 50 years. He claims the soul of anyone who dies here. He greets the guests in the lobby, then sends them tumbling down to the basement. Only when somebody has reached the 4th floor is his true identity revealed. a once thought to be dead serial killer, he is known only as the butcher, and he wields a 4 foot long meat cleaver. He drags it around the metal floor, making a loud screeching noise as he drags it, you can hear him before you see him. Of course, he attacks in pitch-dark so you won't even know which direction the sound is coming from. All beasts of this hell fear him, if they fail him, he skewers and decapitates the beast. making it part of the scenery. same goes for the visitors. anyone who dies here, his/her carcass will become part of the scenery. a twisted trophy for the butcher's workings.
Pretty god damned twisted, eh? I thought it up a few days ago. Anyone wanna join?
Mr. Samuel L. Jackson! Hot damn! :D
Nyah, too gothic for me. Just thought I'd offer a bah-bump!
