Title: The Brawl Is Out

Lance - March 9, 2008 06:19 AM (GMT)
So yeah Brawl is out and going to play it first thing when I get up (going to be camping outside of my local Blockbuster for like 30 minutes tomorrow so I'm the first one to rent it, and they're going to have it since they have these huges posters promoting Brawl and a shit load of pre orders)

Post friend codes here so we can duke it out.

Starless Knight - March 9, 2008 08:25 PM (GMT)
Damn you Amazon! Not getting it until Thursday.

Skyler - March 9, 2008 09:51 PM (GMT)
I Have it Too Got It At 11 AM Today! Pretty Fun.

Kiao - March 9, 2008 10:09 PM (GMT)
Just got it a few minutes ago. Will figure out friend codes and shit later.

If I ever get back online again.

Sweetie - March 10, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
I think I'm gonna wait for about a week. Haha, the fun isn't changing while I don't have it. ;D

Lance - March 10, 2008 02:07 AM (GMT)
Played it and bought it, gotta say, it's incredibly fun, even more fun at the party I was at. Plays different than Melee.

hi blu - March 10, 2008 01:34 PM (GMT)
care to explain it a bit? i'm not getting it so i would like to hear about it o.O;;.

Lance - March 10, 2008 07:29 PM (GMT)
It's like Melee was given the Sword of Excalibur.

Its slower but it plays extremely smoothly. There's a bunch of modes but are put together so well that you'd have to be stupid not to play them all. Subspace Emissary is packed with 10 hours of gameplay with beautiful cutscenes. The music is topnotch with over 200 orchestrated themes. There are over 1000 stickers and trophies to collect so it will take you quite a while to get done. Home-run contest, Event Mode, and Subspace are all Co-op. And in the end there are around 35 different characters to play as, all with different play styles. Final Smashes are very elegant and even more powerful, you might want to keep the Smash Balls on even if you're a no-item person. Stage Builder allows you to make countless stages that are made to your liking: Size isn't a problem. You can make enclosed areas, areas with all traps, and even a stage that looks like a game of Tetris. You can also put your music of choice on the stage. Alone, this game is around good. Multiplayer, it's godly. If you have a Wii and plan on not buying this game, you are simply crazy. IGN and Gamespot have gave it both scores of 9.5s and there hasn't been a single site to give it lower than a 9.3.

IOW, BUY THIS GAME.

KiRoy - March 10, 2008 10:12 PM (GMT)
Went at 11:00 Pm got at 1:43(Daylight's saving = 12:43)

Skyler - March 11, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)

Easiest way is to just play through the Subspace Emissary. You get him around 53% completion.

Man, Ike is a force once you get his timing down. I think Wario and Pit are pretty solid too.

And WW Link and Sonic too.
