I know. If you think Jesus is special, imagine what it must have been like for Mary who gave BIRTH to him. Sorry, but if you give birth to the SON of GOD, that has to hurt a lot (plus I always just thought that God impregnated her somehow, not with just any special "Godly powers".)

And yes, birth with no pain meds must be hell... and in a dirty place like that. Women get so anal about hygiene these days when it comes to their babies, I wonder if she went insane or just dealt with it.
