Most awaited for Wii game for this year, and has been in the development for years.

Now, we have many updates, including a few stages, items and characters. Be ready to behold these magical wonders.

Characters

We already know Mario, Kirby, Link, Pikachu, Samus, Fox, Zero Suit Samus, and the others are in. No newcomers folks, but updates and new graphics on other characters (no I didn't copy these word per word from another site, just trying to make it sound thrilling. Of course I copied the pictures, but that goes without saying. Scroll down to the bottom of the post to see everything else I didn't include.)

Zelda



The girl who Link saves time and time again, she is this universe's Princess Peach. Just like Link she is bearing the new Twilight Princess look, not to mention a very subdued palette swap. This time she back and packs quite a punch, not with her fists, but with her magic.

Bowser



The Koopa King is back and ready for action, this time he's more detailed, even more than brawl. Not to mention he still keeps the title of the biggest and heaviest fighter in the Smash Bros series. To be honest, I just can't wait to see what his Super Smash attack looks like.

Donkey Kong



The King of the Jungle is back again for his third Smash appearance. He still packs a wallop with his giant haymaker, if you're cocky about his strength then you better expect to pay for it!

Yoshi



Mario's ol' Dinosaur buddy is back and looking for fun. Unlike some other Smash contestants like Samus, instead of looking more detailed and realistic, he seems more fantastic from the games we love him from like his own story. Surprisingly, this time around his up move actually gives him some distance for his jump.

Stages

Stages this time around aren't just stages with a few obstacles here and there and a bunch of obstacles in the air, this time, all the stages do something different that affects the battlefield.

Battlefield



The Battlefield we encountered in Smash Melee is here to say, although it's a bit more Legend of Zelda-esque now. Nothing in this stage effects the battle, but the scenery changes, which adds a more realistic touch.

It starts out all basic.

But after a while...



Evening comes.



Then night descends.



And before you know it, dawn arrives and the cycle repeats itself until day starts again.

Delfino Plaza



The well known setting of the tropical Super Mario Sunshine, this time it's a battlefield and the city folk seem to know it too. This particular stage works out like Mute City, where you battle on a single moving platform.

After a while, the platform will drop you into one of several places in the town below. Not all of these locations have been shown, but if you played Sunshine you should recognize these two current places.





Yoshi's Island



The only current stage to be in all 3 games. This stage is far more elaborate than the previous one, most notably the platform will slightly tilt, which still effects your fighting.

Every now and then, Shy Guys will appear (just like the previous game) and the marvelous Support Ghost comes in every now and then (sort of like that one stage in the previous game with the giant turtle, except more useful.) The truly wonderous part about this stage is that it goes through seasonal changes, just like here in the real world.





Lylat Cruise (personally my favorite)



The general term for the Lylat System which the Star Fox universe takes place. How you can breath and how's there's gravity I don't know, but still be sure to enjoy it!

I'm not really sure 100% if the things in the pictures below effect only the background or the entire battlefield, who knows. But it is pretty thrilling to barrel through asteroid belts, dogfights, and even the Corneria airspace for you fighting.







Bridge of Eldin



By far the flattest arena in the game. A famous place from the game Twilight Princess, the characters in Smash decide to make a stand here.

Though you better watch out for hostile leader King Bulblin, for he makes slight appearances to throw bombs and crack the arena floor!





Not to worry, the missing piece will be transported via magically to fill in the gap eventually, just like in the game.

I've been keeping updated with the site, so I've seen all these things. Groudon and Deoxys are two new pokemon that can assist you.

Did you take the character descriptions directly from the site?

And you forgot to mention the Animal Crossing stage.

No, I actually made those descriptions myself (for the most part, I had to put in a few things from the site like the jump for Yoshi, and I copied the word haymaker from Donkey Kong. Besides those couple of things, I did all word per word). And yes I notice, I got too bored and decided to quit early.

Also be sure to check under notices for a cool 15 second video. Looks like Giga Bowser is back.

Giga Bowser is Bowser's Final Smash attack. Glad to see that Super Smash Bros. has it's own version of fatalities.

Uh, you missed Pit, Wario, SS (ZOMG LIEK IM TOTALLY IN BRAWL GUYZ!!!), and some basic charrys. And Chikorita and Goldeen are still pokemon in it.

The dude who did the music of Golden Sun/Golden sun the Lost Age is working on the music of Brawl, so this should be fanominal

Now, all I need to do is get a wii. =p Who here has one already?

SSBB`s release date is Dec.3.

Wtf? Yes there are newcomers! Like snake, zero suit saumus, I think sonic might be in there, Meta knight, and others I haven't yet seen or heard.

Pokemon Trainer!!
I'm actually really excited about this... now the trainer dosn't do the do the fighting directly, but rather he has three pokemon (Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard) do the fighting for him. while he just kind of stays in the background of what ever the fighting stage is. You switch pokemon by using the down special move (exactly like how you changed Zelda to Sheik in Melee) called Pokemon Change. They swap out in a set order: Squirtle→Ivysaur→Charizard. They all share the same damage meter, so they don’t recover from damage during Pokémon Change. But they also have another stat, which you might call stamina. If you keep fighting with the same Pokémon, or if you change them out too often, it’s not so good for the Pokémon.

I'm pretty excited, too. Hope they'll be able to use items.

The prospect of Charizard with a Hammer is so very, very exciting.

Going to love playing as him. And Poketrainer. Ike is just... he's Ike I don't need a reason to like him. Go die <.< Poketrainer sounds like an awesome concept.

I'd love to see Soren, he was by far the most awesome mage in that game, but I believe they're more likely to pick someone like Boyd or Setfan if they use another FE character. The Black Knight would be fun as hell to play as.

Goddess of Dawn's coming out sometime in November. Over 50 maps, Wolf Laguz, Three Classes. It's going to be like sex.

Kiao, Myrrh could just terrorize everyone with her dragon prowess. I wanna see Boyd, Ephraim, Roy, and Hector as assist trophies

From what I've seen they seem to show 1 new character at the begining of each week and then other info during the other days. also the site is only updated on weekdays. the latest info about the new adventure mode looks really interesting. Today they added music from K.K. Slider and Yoshi's final smash move.(Which is interesting)

Princess Elincia's a peg. knight, and was a bitch to train properly. There were so many more awesome characters, like Heath. Heath owned, hard.

I want Soren as at least an assist trophy because he owned. Heath too, Heath was a rapist when you leveled him up.

First of all, we're forgetting someone more important than all of them.

Myrrh. If anyone should be an assist trophy, it should be Myrrh. Fire breathing manakete, ftw.

Closely followed by Rolf, who was damn near untouchable if you leveled him up and gave him Deadeye.

Rolf? I never personally bothered with archers. I generally simply destroy everything with fire. Soren NEEDS to be an assist trophy, with his tornado skillz and such he'd be awesome. Myyrh can come along too but only if Nasir also gets his chance because come on, Nasir was kickass enough to take the Black Knight. That has to mean something.

All we need now is Pokemon Trainer Blue and Pokemon Trainer Yellow who have Chikorita, Quilava, and Feraligator/Torchic, Marshtomp, and Sceptile respectively.

That would rule... I love Yellow! ^.^ She's probably my favorite character from the manga series.

I liked Green over Yellow in the manga, still can't find Volume 10+ up though. I liked Red and Blue a ton too, sucks Red's hands got frozen and such.

In the anime I want everyone to die.

Pokemon Trainer Green would probably get in over Blue, Blue was an improved version of Red and Green in Japan using a better engine but in America both Red AND Blue used the Blue Game Engine. Hence FR and LG.

I say we replace all the Pokemon with fucking Lugia! xD
