I thought it was Sonic THE fighters... either way, it was fun, but the controls seemed kinda sloppy.

But I personally like SA2:B, SA:DX, and StF.
Though, playing multiplayer on Shadow with your friends that are just messing around is hysterical. "SKATEBOARD THINGY! COME BACK! NUUUUUUU!" xD

@Giga: It's been adapted into 3 titles: Sonic Fighters, Sonic the Fighters, and Sonic Championship.
