Way to spell 'favorite.' Good game.
Anyway:
Weird Al, Queen, Metallica, Led Zepplin, Stephan Lynch, Lifeseeker (only one song though), Cream, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Who, The Kinks, The Standells, a few Sonic 3 level songs (Ice Cap Zone ftw) and other soundtrack songs, Da Rude, Eddy Grant, and one or two Zladko! songs.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Starless Knight - February 12, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
Weird Al, They might be giants, One Piece openings/endings, and Papa Roach. Not many bands.
Kero - February 13, 2007 09:18 PM (GMT)
Koji Wada (Har! I can be non-specific, too, y'know!).
...Hmmm... Seiken Densetsu 2 OST...
Madvillain...
Gorillaz...
Damn. I can't remember who composed the music from PSU. *runs off*
...That's pretty much it as of late. It's what I've been listening to via my 360. I've been playing PSU during my internetless days. Music's really good on that, actually. Love to have the OST. "With You" and "For Brighter Day" are both hawt on that game. I have a save right before the end of the game so I can hear the orchestrated "With You". Just have to kill DF.
Peaches - February 14, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
Dave Matthews Band, (a rather new addtion to my 'favorites' list) the Beatles, Death Cab, U2, The Four Seasons, (sue me >;O) Linkin Park... sometimes.
...Yeah. Oh, and I sometimes like Coldplay and Evanesence. Sometimes.

Cradle of Filth
As I Lay Dying
Breaking Benjamin
Linkin Park
Yellowcard
Slipknot
System of a Down
Seether
Three Day's Grace
FlyLeaf
Tool
Note: Most of these bands happen to be metal bands, all of them are some form of rock, because all other genres suck.

Alternative is a form of rock, which is why Yellowcard is up there =/
DarkCelestialDragon the Echidna - March 17, 2007 03:32 AM (GMT)
Bands/singers/music artists that I've heard a large amount of songs from (various albums (or whatever) as well), and love:
The Smashing Pumpkins (I love Billy's voice... if I had his voice for one day I'd definitely take full advantage of it... which probably doesn't make sense so I'll just stfu), Alien Tempo Experiment 13 (now known as Poperratic), whoever made all of the music from Serial Experiments Lain (all albums I mean, including Bootleg Lain... also including Boa and Sugizo songs), Toadies, Sonic video game series music, Kirby video game series music, actually just Nintendo music in general (and a few from PS), Dir en grey, Lily Chou-Chou (who is actually Salyu), Nirvana, Pixies, Danny Elfman, Everclear, Jamiroquai, The Cure, Garbage, Shakira, Nujabes (the ones who make the music for Samurai Champloo), Yoko Kanno, Jay Z, Takeshi Kobayashi, Ludacris, Selena, John Carpenter, whoever made all of the music for Arc the Lad (the whole CD cover I have is in Japanese and I don't feel like looking it up at the moment), songs from the Sailor Moon series, and songs from the Trigun series... and Outlaw Star series.
I don't feel like naming bands that I've only heard one song yet love the song (or less than five), though, so meh.

FlyLeaf Tool |
Song(s) I've heard from those two I've liked a lot. (From Flyleaf it was "Broken Wings", it's really awesome. Also "I'm Sorry" and "I'm So Sick" are good. From Tool it was "Sober"... Oh, and from Slipknot, I liked "The Nameless" and "My Plague").
EDIT: (also about three from SOAD, although I hate "Hypnotize" :/)
Koncho - March 22, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
I liked most of Koji Wada's (Digimon dude person) and I like Orange Range's music.

I'm dead to the new stuff, I don't like the new music which is been labeled as emo, emocore, screamo, shit....to me, a lot of it just sounds the same, once in a while there will be rare gem of a song, but not often, it doesn't
Kiao - March 29, 2007 07:28 PM (GMT)
Don't double post.
Although I agree with you: most new music is doubleplus ungood.
For the record, I DO enjoy speaking Newspeak. It's doubleplus good. Read 1984, children.
