I have just turned this on to keep the spambots from getting in. So, make sure you sign up with a real e-mail.

Okay, it seems that EVERY spambot is registering as *@*.info (* are wildcards for anything), and I just put that in the E-Mail Ban info.
BYE-BYE SPAMBOTS!!!! =D
EDIT: I just tested it, AND IT WORKED.

There shouldn't be ANY loopholes in this, because I just found the link to ALL the spambots. If they do come back, I'll just kill them. All. With my chainsawing admin powers.
