Basically I made a whole long list of rules for members to follow, reaching every last rule that isn't in the rules in the guidelines. Members should follow these, so this is why they're in the announcements section.

1. Don't post posts such as "I agree" or "Same with me", they don't contribute to the topic, at all, whatsoever. If you're going to say you agree, at least put a valid reason for it.

2. Make sure you have at least 20 posts before you advertise, if you come here just to advertise your site, you will be warned mmmm'k?

3. Try not to overflow your signature with size or html. This creates serious lag for some other Chao Paradise members, such as Kiao, which is not good.

4. Try not to make your avatar the maximum height and width, it is fairly annoying and, again, causes lag.

5. All not serious/joking/sarcastic/trick topics go in the spame room, don't post a joking suicide in the "Advice" section like a certain someone, that kind of stuff is for serious discussion only.

6. Do not use only abbreviations in posts, sure, the three word rule allows words such as "lol" to be used, but it doesn't contribute, just because it counts as three words doesn't mean it's right to use all the time.

7. No backseat moderating, we staff know how to do our job.

8. Do not multi post, use the friendly little edit button. Only instances it's okay to is when: bumping an RP, bumping a fan fic or fan art of yours, making another RP character, in the spame room in general (yes , you are allowed to post to your hearts content in the Spam Room), server error (when you post the add reply button twice or so and accidental posts are created), and when replying to a locked topic of yours (only really affects staff).

9. No NSFW links or images. Unless you properly link it as NSFW.

10. Sort of the above rule, do not quote posts that contain NSFW content, for members still get access to it.

11. Don't make topics promoting the use of firearms, illegal weapons, drugs, alcohol, emulators, violence, adultery racism, sexism, homophobic stuff, mistreatment to animals and the enviorment, and to a certain extent, sedation.

12. Somewhat important rule, when posting a topic, never use the emoticon, spambots use this all the time, and I won't hesitate to delete the topic if the poster wasn't a spambot or not.

13. Do not release private information about people, this includes city and street address, IP address, phone number, private email address, or last name. There's a slight chance of predators being here, and I don't want Sweetie being sued for having one of her members being killed or seduced by another.

14. No post count boosting. Ok, I use to do this all the time when I was first a member, but it will be enforced, when replying to a topic, it is important you read the first post concerning it, you also don't need to reply to every person who has replied to the thread, and the "lol" and "I agree" things count as post boosting.

15. Do not create multiple accounts, they are not necessary, even if they're backup. Make a backup when your old account is banned or deleted or something, like you get banned for another person's mistake or the big member deletion Sweetie performed in July 2006 that deleted everyone who hadn't registered in 2004.

16. Try not to use image macros outside the spam room, that include pictures with overladed text that say "GTFO MY INTERNETZ" or "BUMPED", they don't count as three words and they're are a slight waste of space.

17. If an image of yours breaks the table, link it instead.

18. Post threads in the correct area, the topic descriptions are giveaways enough, don't make us staff do more work than we need to.

19. If you're posting a topic that has already been made, post in that one instead of making one of your own (i.e UltraByte and the "Video Topic" ordeal.)

22. Don't use periods too much, what I mean is "Posting.............. like.................. this................ yeah......."

23. Don't be a Nazi, meaning don't coerce people into doing things for your own personal benefit or fancy or bribing people to do your bidding. Or, in another instance, believing a certain group of people should be exterminated due to their inferiority. Especially against gays and blacks.

25. No serious indiscrimination against others, or else I'll promptly have to punch your face in.

26. Don't make topics just for attention whoring, they make me want to eat kittens, and I love kittens. So don't do it.

28. Don't harass or perform personal attacks on other members, it's not nice and will not be tolerated.

29. When judging a person's work, give constructive criticism, even if it's negative. Don't tell them they're a failure at life, this is a minor form of thread trolling, which you mustn't do.

30. Don't be a dick unless your smart at beating around the bush, meaning you know how far to be and not be a dick.

31. Write like a person with at least two brain cells connected, other people have to be able to read your posts and have their eyes not bleeding. if u can r33d dis u r n srs trbl mite lolz.

32. RP Forum Only: Don't godmodd, meaning don't give your characters the speed of Sonic the Hedgehog or the strength of Galacticus, or the power of invunerability or invincibility, thats a big no-no, and your ass will be haunted by the RP police.

34. Spam Room Only: Don't take anything seriously in the spam room, chances are people are just messing with ya and kidding around about stuff.

36. You have the ability to report other members who break the above rules and us staff have overlooked it, it helps are job so we encourage it.

I thought the rule where you can't call a neutral run/run chao etc. etc. was needless though. I mean if you're going to make people type things like that out you might as well make people type out "laugh out loud" and "for the win" and stuff like that.

Ok good set of rules, I agree with most of the things Darksoul and co. have said, and of course, by saying that, I'd be breaking the rules.
The Neutral/Run/Run instead of Sonic chap thingy is useless. Just make them type NRR or something. And what if they're newbies, who don't know anything about what to call a chao, just because other people hate it, doesn't mean everyone does.

And yeah, no backseat moderating. I don't agree with that 100% either. What if they made a mistake? Someone could correct it, but of course, they'd need proof. A screenshot, or a link to the proof maybe?

But yeah, everything else not aforementioned should be fine.
Except the 'I agree' thing. I mean, look at what I just did. I agreed with the majority of stuff previously mentioned, and added my own proper opinions to it.

All in all, I agree with rules. They seem fair to me.

And the maximum is 6525, in 3 lifetimes that is. It's only available with an all-S-rank chao, with extreme luck. And if you REALLY want to, you could get an aced-out chaos chao.

Not really, I still allow people to swear and use vulgar language and stuff, and to insult people for being idiots and the occasional fight or two, and to the ability to give negative comments (as long as its constructive critism). If I took that away, that'd pretty much be the end of kiao
