Title: Concerning Forums
Leo Leonardo - January 5, 2007 09:35 PM (GMT)
I've seen, their are quite the amount of each of these topics, so, why don't we make a sub forum about them? I'll explain each:
Debate: A sub forum of chatting, talk about real life issues and have disscussions with other people about it and exchange opinions, amongst anything else that contributes to a debate.
News: This is actually probably going to be something helpful, instead of looking through dozens upon dozens of pages to look on info about current or old news in the Chat section, this sub forum tells you it all, members will usually posts frequent news that's going on in the world, mostly used to inform.
Games: Srsly, you've noticed their's been a lot of games being created in the spame room now and in the past, now people post here to join and participate in various contests and games, and stuff. Also, this could have surveys in it as well, since that would be a nice touch for a games section.
I will answer any questions retaining to this subject.

Yep, they're all needed. Almost certainly.

They really aren't necessary.
Debate = noone here really argues about anything.
News = the Chao News section? DURR.
Games = SPAM forum doesn't need subforums, it's just SPAM.

I agree with Kiao. Does our board really have to be THAT into detail? Can't we just make topics that don't HAV to be in any category? Besides, that makes more moving topics for us staff.

That's not what I meant, it's a subform of spam but it really isn't spam, it's a section with games, sections, and various activities (ie the ban game, rate the avatar above you, word links, death games, make a wish and have it horribly corrupted, the new menu, amongst others)
Oh yeah, and we do need them if we want are site to look like a more intelligent place and have slightly better site traffic, since alot of people like those three kinds of topics.
News is important because it keeps member up to date about things oustide of the Chao Paradise life.
Debate is important because it opens up for serious discussion and lessen the ability of unneeded discussion.
Games and Surveys are important since we really do have a lot of things pertaining to the subject, plus it would lessen post count boosting from forum games and surveys in the chatting section.

It's a CHAO site, how intelligent do we have to look?
Leo Leonardo - January 21, 2007 12:26 AM (GMT)
Being a chao site is irrelevant.

Half the spam forum are the games, so basically it'd just be the incredible active 'Games' subforum with one or two topics in the SPAM room.
News? If people cared enough they'd post it. Not that it's a bad idea, but most people don't care (Daily Show and Colbert Report are all the news I need). So why just have an empty subforum?
You might have something with the debate forum: look at what we have here.

I guess what you say about the game part is right, although if I keep up with my useless thread making in the spame forum we actually make up for lost threads :D! Although, playing games and conducting serious surveys aren't my number one view on something having to do with "spame."
You get a high five for Daily Show and Colbert Report, since they are quite humourous news slants, and among my favorite programs.

Then again, Chao times is a semi news section, pertaining to all news concerning the site, plus each individual forum section gives its own different news.
Debate, however, is the big neutrality towards the subject of new forums.
