Anyone ever heard of something called pokerus in emerald version? Apparently, it's a virus but what does it do?

I remember it from my Crystal playthrough. Though I'm still not really sure what it does.

It's *really* rare in GSC, dunno about newer versions. It spreads from pokemon to pokemon, and boosts stat growth, which is really good. :D

wow... it helps more then hurts. that's definitly a good thing. I also noticed, that my level 65 blaziken was gaining exp points more easily then before.
