I just want to post about my homecoming experience. <3
Oh my freakin' gosh! Homecoming was sooo much fun! I HAD THE GREATEST TIME OF MY LIFE!!!
So, I was supposed to meet a group of friends there at 8:30 but I was late and ended up getting there at 8:45. Then, when I get inside, they all come out of no where and crowd around me and just gush about how gorgeous my dress is and what an awesome time we're going to have. I never felt more loved. So, then I dropped my stuff off in the coat room and then we went off and started dancing. A lot of the songs were hip hop and dance. There were only 2 slow songs of the night (and they weren't even slow. Scooooore!) so we were dancing like crazy. I think the most memorable songs were "Everytime We Touch" by Cascasa and the Macarena. I swear to you that every single person in the room was dancing to those two songs. It was the best. <3
At first I was a little shy about dancing ('cause this was the first time I had ever danced in public). But, once the music started playing and I got pumped from seeing everyone else dance, I got over the shyness and went all out. It was a lot of fun, because I didn't care if other people thought I sucked, I was having fun. This homecoming was the absolute greatest.
My group danced right beside the biggest speaker in the whole place. Nooot smart. When I got home (around 12:15am) and things quieted down my ears were ringing pretty badly. I had a little bit of trouble getting to sleep. They rang all day the next day too. Thankfully they stopped today. ._.;
SO! Around 10pm the floor started getting slippery to the point where I couldn't function in heels. So, I took them off. It was disgusting though...'cause the floor was wet from everyone's sweat. I was dancing with a friend when another friend of ours told us to come touch the walls. My friend did and I could tell that there was water there. She freaked out and so did I. XD I don't even want to imagine touching that wall. By the end of the night it was actually dripping. o_e; *twitch* Those poor janitors...
Oh! There was even drama too. So, my friends were all dancing in a big group, and one girl said something to another girl. Then the first girl fake slapped the second girl and the second girl litterally slapped the first one (I felt it. ._.) and walked away. It came out of no where too. It was reeeaaally weird...Apparently there's a lot of drama going on between those two...
Hmm...oh. I got a lot of comments about my dress. Even random people walked up to me and spazzed, "OMFG ITS SOOO PRETTY!!!" I learned something about myself. I hate flattery. I mean, I get all stiff and my neck gets hot and I studder my words and junk. I definetly can't handle a lot of flattery. And you know what the weird thing is? I wore this dress before to another dance, and I got the same reaction from other people (and the same amount of flattery). I just can't take it sometimes. ._.
I think that's it...<3 All in all, I had an awesome time and I can't wait to go to my best friend's homecoming (Oct. 27). Woot wooooo!!!!

P.S. Dont' forget this weekend was Breast Cancer awareness. If you have a relative or friend who has survived breast cancer, (if you haven't already) tell them how much you appreciate and love them. Or, if you have a relative or friend who died of the cancer, say a prayer for them or tell their family you love them.

Do you all have any homecoming experiences to share? 8D
Hehe, guess I'm up XD
Homecoming rocked this year. We had a Luau, with a Hawain theme, which nobody followed. It was packed in, with 500 frosh in a tiny room, and the windows fogged up from all the smoke. Great music, they even played 'All the Small Things'. The dance was pretty much a grindfest, but it was great. My friend Danny danced with his GF and another girl, but she didn't care XD. I danced with like, 4 girls (Yush, grinding. 'Gotta fit in). Me and most popular kids were dancing...hate to brag saying I'm popular, but it's true. My friend John had worked up his rep with this one girl all month to dance with her, and this was his big night. So, they danced and had a great time, then another guy tried to push his arm into her boob, and John turns and hisses WTF? Then the guy turns and DOES sgrab her boob, and scurries off. The girl turns to John and calls him a total pervert, while nearly crying, and then storms off. John tried the whole dance to say sorry. Weird thing is, I saw the whole thing, and I tried to tell her it wasn't what it looked like. I feel bad for him.
After dancing for 2 hours, I went outside on the patio and talked with (guy) friends for the rest of the night. I was exhausted, but I had a blast.
Sounds like fun...except for the whole boobie groping thing. D: That's not cool. I probably would have cried too. =/
Glad you had fun!
