:D You heard me. I have imagination surge. Me battle. Now. Grr... Rawr.

It's on. Using Kiao, no weapons, but using his boosts.

Go ahead and start.

Kero walked out, in his mage's robe and petasos (y'know... like a magician's hat; comes to a point). Holding his staff in his right hand, the staff being taller than him, he smirked.

Kiao wandered out, looking around, and then he noticed Kero. "What's with the getup?"

Kero appeared to be quite annoyed. "I couldn't find my red clown nose. Please forgive me." He quickly regained his attitude. "I thought since I was going to practice my wizardry on you today, I'd dress the part."

"Wizardry?" Kiao laughed, and put on a mock British accent. "Like 'Arry Potter?" He blinked, and suddenly his hands burst into flame. "Go ahead."

Kero frowned. "You'll pay for that remark. 'Wizardry' happens to be the technical word for it." Kero pointed his staff into the air, waving it around a bit. He looked very focused. "Ancient magic invocation," he mumbled, "clouds of darkness solidify and release what is within!" Kero's staff vibrated, the clouds above Kiao becoming very dark. A waterfall came down from the clouds.

Kiao's chao flame became an exclaimation point. "AAAH!" He quickly smashed his fists together and spread them apart, and lifted them over his head, creating a wall of fire that was preventing the water from getting at him, at great strain and requiring the use of a lot of concentration...

Kero held the staff one-handed, continuing to focus on the power of the spell, reaching into his pocket with his free hand. The power of his spell dwindled somewhat; he pulled out a vial, different from his usual ones. He threw it at Kiao. "Waterfall!" The vial burst in mid-air, a large amount of flowing water rushing at Kiao's side.

Kiao was hit full on by the torrent of water, which knocking him into the air, disrupting his concentration. The remaining water from the cloud then came crashing down on him, and knocked him down. "Meh..." He got up shakily, clearly affected by the water. He was a darker orange now, and his pheonix crest was a very dark red and had cracks going through it, giving off a bright orange light. His chao flame was less bright and giving off heavy smoke. "That...was wet." His fists burst back into flame again. "FIRA IMBER!" He aimed his fists in the direction of Kero, and he began to launch gigantic fireballs, in large numbers, towards him.

Kero smirked; he knew to expect a retaliation of fire. Well... time to try the new catalyst. Really hope it works, he thought. Pulling out another strange vial, he threw it towards Kiao. "Ricochet!" The vial burst as it neared the fireballs. It quickly formed a small crystalline wall, pushing the fireballs away.

"Rastil Maskil..." Kero began.

Unfortunately, the fire managed to wear down the crystalline shield, breaking through it.

"...Sagitta Magica Aqua!"

Kero spun in 360 degrees, unleashing the energy gathered at his staff at the remainder of the fireballs coming for him. The energy had manifested as a large magical arrow of water. Phew... I did it. I didn't think I'd have the time for invocation..., Kero thought as he panted.

Kiao noticed the water arrow. "Oi, he knows my weakness...and now he knows magic. This will make it...challenging." He started rubbing his fists together, generating friction and heat. "But I've been doing magic far longer than he has..." He continued rubbing his fists together, and crackling noises could be heard, occasional electrical jolts shooting from them. "And besides...I doubt he can move faster than lightning." He stopped rubbing his fists together, his body now entirely pulsing with jolts of electricity...

Kero took heed and raised his right arm, activating his wristband shield. He gripped his staff with his left hand.

"Spirits of the Earth, take my form and rise up!"

The ground around Kero shook, and four rock formations rose from the ground. Small rocks fell from the four, resembling Kero in a basic shape. The elemental-Keros stepped forward.

Kiao was unconcerned by the elemental Keros, his eye was twitching with energy and his body was pulsing with electricity. "You can't catch-" There was a 'BZZT' noise, and he disappeared and then reappeared next to Kero, directly two inches in front of him. "-what you can't see." He punched forwards with an electrically charged fist in an exceptionally quick motion, almost invisible, and then was gone again in another 'BZZT' noise...

"Nyaaah!" Kero fell back, away from the fist, startled somewhat. He waved his staff, dismissing the elementals. "Let's see how you do with this..." Kero closed his eyes, holding his staff up.

"Weather change to rain!"

Clouds quickly gathered around, raining down heavily on the surrounding area.

Kiao looked up at the rainclouds. "Well..." He disappeared in a flash of lightning, hidden from sight...

Giving a few glances around, Kero sat down, his staff rested against him upright. He rested his eyes, quietly muttering to himself.

After a few minutes, the rain began to subside, and the clouds began to part. However, as the last giant raincloud separated, there was a crackle, and a flash, and Kiao, manifested in a lightning bolt, shot down at the staff.

If it were made of wood, then it would've cracked the staff down the middle and burned it slightly, but would do no more damage than that, and Kiao would reappear next to Kero, slightly dizzy but still able to counterattack.

If it were made of metal, than it would pass through the staff and through Kero, damaging him, and then causing Kiao to appear out of the ground after the lightning passed through his feet a few yards from Kero, preparing another attack.

(I don't recall exactly what the staff is made out of, so pick the one that reflects on what the staff is made of.)

It passed through the staff and through Kero as well. They both dissipated into particles, floating off.

"...Freezing Torrent!" Kero finished his incantation, jumping out from the shadows behind Kiao. He leapt over Kiao, aiming his staff at Kiao's crest, firing a large burst of ice at it, close-range.

Kiao's crest was then frozen. "Uh...okay." He then focused, the crest could be seen glowing under it, and the ice evaporated instantly into steam. "That did no good, eh?" He then ran at Kero and attempted a basic tackle.

Kero was knocked to the ground, keeping a deep grip on his staff. "Nyah, that wasn't quite fair...!" Kero pulled out one of his vials, holding it out on his hand. "Water catalyst!" The vial burst into a concentrated beam of water, aimed at Kiao.

"Not again..." Kiao was hit with the concentrated beam and was sent flipping through the air. Again, his crest returned to the cracked brownish form, with shining light seen through the cracks. "Meh..." He got up weakly, shook his head, and launched a series of fireballs, with much less strength and speed.

Kero hopped up, rushing at the fireballs.

"Sagitta Magica Aquas... Ancient magic invocation! Water Spear!" He dived onto his staff; it was pointed at the fireballs and Kiao, flying straight ahead. The staff and Kero soon became coated with a watery shield, his staff and Kero becoming one lance of water, charging at the fireballs and Kiao.
