Adoption Center

You can adopt cute chao here! The adoption center includes:

-Two classes of chao; pedigree and non-pedigree
-The Adopt-for-a-week program! You can take your chao home with you for a week to try it out and see if you have the right chao
-Egg adoption: you can start the breeding yourself!
-Expert pedigree breeders
- All chao cost between 300 and 5,000 rings!

Chao Shows

Chao can be entered in shows, too! The best breeded and groomed chao will take the prize of 1,000 rings! Unfortanetly, only pedigree chao can enter. Chao shows include:

-runner-up prizes of 500 rings!
-tips on winning the show by past winners
-free fruit for your chao during the competition


Everyone starts out with 1,000 rings AND 5 fruits. You can get a job here at the adoption center or sell things to the Chao Store to gain more rings. Also, when you buy a chao or an egg, there are only one of each (1 egg, 1 chao) of those color chao in stock.

Just give your profile in this style... then buy a chao! You can enter up to two characters maximum. Remember that you start off with 1,000 rings and five fruits, the rings being enough to buy a chao or two and a couple supplies, and the fruits being enough to feed your chao for a month at the most. I do NOT recommend only giving him fruits right on the rim of death, (aka one fruit every two weeks) because I'll be monitoring everyone's chao's happiness, and his happiness will go way down if you feed him TOO scarcingly. Anyways, I'll start!

"Okay..." Sparks said. "Mom gave me 1,000 rings, sooooo...." He thought for a second. "Ash'd get mad at me if I didn't get him a chao... oh well! He can come here himself!" Sparks smirked. He loved giving his six year-old brother grief. He was planning to get a ruby chao, but he didn't have enough money at the moment. "Aw man!" Sparks groaned as he saw this. "Ah well. That blue one looks cool."

"You want the non-pedigree chao?" the kitsune asked. Non-pedigree? He'd heard of pedigree chao. Supposedly, they were the only ones who could be entered in Chao Shows, but he didn't care. Sparks had also met some pedigree chao. The majority of them had bad attitudes, but it was probably only the way their breeders treated them. "Yes, ma'am." he confirmed.

Sure, I'll join, although I'll probably forget to come and my chao will die, but, eh.

Sparrks thought gleefully. "An egg!" he said proudly. As the lady left to get him his egg, he listened as the other girl at the counter asked the boy the same question.

"I would like to have a shiny normal chao please." she said happily. She was carrying a small backpack. She reached into the big pocket and pulled out 900 rings. She slowly counted them. "898..899..900!" she said putting 900 rings on the desk. She put the other 100 rings in her backpack. She scooted the rings towards the kitsune. After that she inspected the room.

Ironic Little Kid picked up his chao and walked out of the door to the chao garden(?). He put his chao down and walked away the chao followed him.

Sparks saw all of the breeders coming in. He wanted to talk to them, but he suddenly felt very shy at the sight of all of the breeders. He just slipped into the chao garden area.

(Oh, and FlameFist, you can become an employee or sell things, such as fruits and eggshells. I forgot to add this, but you can also run out and do stages to earn rings, kinda like a sonic game, and come back with some rings. You can only come back with three hundred at the maximum.)

archer's chao hatches and he says,"i'll name you sappire!"

Memoro looked confused when he went into the chao garden. "Why did he do that?" she asked herself. "Oh well.." she reached over the counter to get her shiny normal chao. She smiled and rocked it back and forth slowly.

Sparks carefully placed his egg on the plush green grass of the garden. He saw other owners and their chao. He felt safe here.

Memoro smiled at Sparks. She placed the egg on the grass. She rubbed the egg. It started moving. Memoro smiled more. You could here the cracking of the egg. The top of the egg plopped on to the ground. Out came a cute shiny chao. She had the biggest eyes ever and it looked up at Memoro and smiled. A little heart appeared in place of the dot. Memoro found a fruit on the ground and gave it to the chao. The chao basically devoured the fruit. "I guess it is a big eater." she said gleefully. The chao looked confused. "I will name you Maple." she said. She grabbed the shiny egg shell. "I wonder if I can sell this.." she looked towards her Maple. "I'll be right back."

Sparks kept an eye on the newly hatched chao as the kitsune left, then, shortly after, his chao started to hatch!

Ariene casually walked in. In her hands, she held a large sack that jingled every few seconds. She set the sack on the counter and patiently waited for someone to help her with buying a new chao. As she waited, Ari looked around. Many people, who seemed to be breeders, had come to the center. "Surprising..." She muttered. Her eyes wandered around the room, taking in all the sights.

Ironic Little Kid looked behind him and saw his chao. "I call you FollowerOfMe"! Ironic Little Kid marched around the garden, with his chao following close behind. He turned around suddenly and the chao bumped into him, and fell over. Ironic Little Kid picked up his chao and took him to another shiny chao ((Saphire)) and put him down while he walked to City Escape to collect some rings.

"Can I sell this?" Memoro asked. She placed the shiny egg shell on the counter.

Ironic Little Kid went helicopter-bit-surfing bown the huge hill and collected 50 rings on teh way. Then kicked some machines in the balls, killing them and getting him chaos drives and advanecing threw the level, so he collected 100 more. He easily ran way to fast for the truck and collecting 50 more coins totaling 200 coins when he got to the end ring!

Happily, Sparks watched as the blue chao hatched. It just stared at him as it hatched. "I'll name you..." Sparks thought for a bit, and stared at the chao. He noticed a femine flash in it's eyes. "You kinda look like a girl... so I'll name you Berry!" The chao stared at Sparks, then crawled away. "Hey, wait up!" Sparks ran after his chao.

Sappire's tummy started growling."i'll feed you."archer handed sappire a friut and sappire ate it.

Berry had started to eat a fruit. "Well, if you were hungry, you coulda just told me!" Sparks scoffed.

uhhhhh???????????????????okay.i will buy a chao from myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*buys shadow chao and names him shadow*LOL.thanks for the shadow chao me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*walks into chao garden and all the chao in the garden pile up on chaos*whoa whoa whoa!!!!!!!!!!*chaos gets knocked over and buried by chao*stop get off!!!!*all chao obey chaos*now go to your trainers.*all chao return to their owners*now then,where was i???o yeah hatching my shadow chao*commands the egg to hatch**the egg hatches on command*now shadow,u stay here and play with the other chao.*Shadow obeys**chaos goes to city escape and returns with 300 more rings which equal 10,000 rings then goes to the store and buys a pedigree chaos 0 chao and sonic chao from self and names the chaos 0 chao chaos 0 and names the sonic chao sonic* thanks me!!!!!LOL!!!*goes into chao garden and this time someone's knuckles chao piledrived chaos into the ground then chaos gets buried by chao*remember that talk we had?????*all chao return to their owners and shadow was so happy his owner returned that he jumped and knocked chaos down and chaos told him to get off and he obeyed then chaos stood up and commanded his copy to hatch and it hatched on command then he did the same with sonic and he hatched on command*now you guys stay together until i return after my shift.OK????*chaos 0,shadow and sonic obeyed*

It took a little while for the helper to come. Finally, one of the assistants came. "How can I help you today?" the assistant beamed cheerfully. "Err, a shiny sky blue chao please?" Ariene asked, gently pushing the sack towards the assistant. The assistant carefully unravel the string and looked inside. "Everything seems to be in order... Here you go!" the assistant said gently placing the shiny sky blue chao in front of Ariene. Ariene picked up the small chao and gave a small thanks to the assistant. "Have a great day, and G'luck!" the assistant called after her. "You shall be...umm...Skye" She said, holding the chao at arm's length to get a better of view of her new companion. The chao blinked once or twice. "Awrrr, Kawaii desu!" She cooed. She held the chao close to her body, as she headed off, skipping, for the chao gardens.

When Berry finished eating the fruit, she moved on to another! "Whoa, Berry! One fruit's enough!" Sparks said, taking the fruit from Berry. She started to cry loudly, and everyone in the garden stared at Sparks. "Um... don't worry, folks! I've... uhhm.. got this all under control! Eh heh heh."

archer whent to city ecape and got 800 rings. when he came back, his chao wandered off.he followed his chao into the chao garden and sappire crawled over to berry.

(Uh, remember Kinghero, you can only bring back 300 rings at the max.)

Berry immeadiately stopped crying when she saw Sapphire. She smiled, and her Emotiball changed into a heart. She let out a happy cry of "Chao chao!" "Look, Berry." Sparks said, grinning. "You've got a friend!"

"Well, this chao is cute." Sparks said. "I wonder who owns this chao?"

As soon as the two reached the Chao Gardens, Ariene set Skye down so she could roam. Ariene sat down on the ground as she watched Skye roam around. Skye waddled back to Ariene and bumped into her ffeet. Ariene giggled, "You're so silly..." She said picking Skye up. She gave her small friend a small snack and set her down again.

"that's my chao!"said archer."sappire likes to wander off to places."archer continued."let's go sappire."archer could tell that sappire wanted to stay."fine,fine, we'll stay."said archer.

The girl behind the counter nodded. "Five hundred rings, please," she said. Albany nodded and took out 500 rings from her pocket. The girl passed over the egg. Albany smiled, thanked her, and exited.

She entered a garden, seeing a few people already there and with chao. She went over to the most empty spot she could see. There were only two who were really close to her, a red porcupine and a (what is Archer?). They also had their chao with them.
