I have this chao and his name is Sonic beacause he is a Sonic chao. Its strange beacause he starts crying all of asudden, but when Iput his friend Jojo beside it, it starts laughing and then plays with Jojo. Then when I take it to the school its fine until I go into the doctors or classroom it tries to pull away but when im any where else he starts clapping and smiling. c:happy

Well, I think he's just hungry. He's flailing his arms all around too, right? He gets happy because he loves you when you get near him to drop off the other chao. Doctor + school visits won't make his hunger dissapear XD So, just give him some fruits and stuff; I'm sure he'll be fine.

Or just say Goodbye to him, it's just hard to because of the darn music they have when you select that option. Just mute the TV when you say goodbye to it, problem solved
