Title: Basil, The Great Mouse Detective
Ryan A.K.A Fox McCloud - March 25, 2006 11:48 PM (GMT)
Basically, this film is unknown yet its absolutely class. If you can manage to get it, do. I remember watching it when I was a kid and, on remembering it today, I posted here about it. I hope to see it again sometime soon because it's damn underrated.
A Disney classic that was not famous, yet did somewhat well in the box office at its release.

xP It's been forever since I've seen it, but I quite vividly remember the Holmes impersonator. :O

Yeah, that movie was pretty cool, and I liked how they slipped the character he was modeled after into it. It did have some freaky parts, though (for someone six years of age or so). I might still have it, at that.

Yeah. Sad thing is that it's overshadowed by other Disney movies that quite frankly, just aren't as good as it. I guess it was a bit mature for the young audiences :\

Gigazubyte - March 27, 2006 01:49 AM (GMT)
Yeah... there's a lot of moments where things jump out and go boo, in effect, and the fight on the clockface was pretty scary for someone in the Disney age group. And didn't the cat actually eat at least one bad guy?

Well anything with "ham" on the end does.
E.g. West Ham or Southampton etc.

Does that mean that "ham-hams" are British? :O ...Bah. That was a lapse in judgment. Bad joke. Stenographer, strike that remark from the record. =>>=
...It's all good...

Well, in the spirit of bad jokes, here's something I thought was funny :(

Anyhow, kero, just thought I'd tell you something. May interest you considering you like all detectives and all that, it may not. Anyway when my mum was a child, she lived next door, or a few houses away, from where Sherlock Holmes' house was.
Yes I am aware that he was a fictitious character, she must be referring to where the films were set? Bah I don't know.
But nonetheless, true story. Believe me ;;
