How I do it is just pause the ROM I'm using and then hit print screen.

Wrong kind of ROM. We're talking about video game roms.
These are illegal copies of actual video games that can be played on the computer.

I feel your pain. I want to rip sprites too but I have NOOO idea what a ROM is. I thinkit would be even harder for me to rip sprites because my sonic games are either on my computer (realarcade.com) or my GBA. c:>.< c:mad
