Yes I am married, and have just given birth to a daughter Monica. She weighed about 7.8 pounds or somthing like that. Yes, I do plan on talking more about the tennis on this board.

You can't change your username yourself, but an administrator can change it for you. But . . . We already have another user that took the name selesfan. :shrug:

I was just looking through, and there is a poster called 'Martina #1 fan', who likes Hingis, Capriati, Davenport and Seles, and has just given birth, and is from Australia. Hmmmmm.

...Back in the day Selesfan here made some erm controversial comments on the BBC board relating to the sexuality of players that had a religious overtone. This sparked a lot of justified anger from other posters.

Then things got confusing. Various posters began to claim to be the real selesfan and various "selesfans" threatened to leave the board only to come back days later. Whether any of these were the real Selesfan is unknown. Also I do believe at one point one Selesfan acted responsably for a period, having serious tennis related discussions admiting a new respect for Mauresmo as a player, but this was during the time I lost interest with the board. I am not sure whether this was the Selesfan that is posting on this board.

Anyway it's all in the past hopefully so let's just treat her like any other poster. :D

The selesfan that posts on here is the original selesfan from the Beeb. She was one of the first posters to befriend me on the beeb (despite the fact that i am gay :blink: ), and has admitted that her various ruses are just for fun, and is sorry for the way she acted. She is a knowledgeable poster, very funny and i welcome her back to give Obli a run for his money. Welcome back SF :D

Those posters that said they were selesfan were all me, and I did say many times that I was going to leave, but only did the once, up til now.

Basically, I WAS very controversial, and what I like to call an 'upper class troll'.
I am a religious person, and at the start, most of the things I said I was being serious, but then I asked myself why I was voicing my religious beliefs on a tennis board, and that God tells us all to love thy neighbour, and have tolerance for everyone. I was very homophobic and racist at the start, but now I am not.

Thats nice to hear that you had a baby Selesfan, Congratulations on that :) I dont really know any of the goings on that had happened with you on the BBC boards even though I did go on there now and then, but you have been nice on here so I haven't got any pre-conceptions anyway :)
