Is anyone following this tournament much? I notice Safin's doing well again
I'm currently watching the live scores and djokovic has just bagelled Bracciali and it's looking scarily like a double!!!!

indeed! :yikes:
beaten by Arnaud Clement, who has proved himself to be a tricky customer over the US hardcourt season, and now continues to get good results...
Shame about Gasquet though.. :( I love his backhand, it is a thing of real beauty imo

I like Novak.. I think he's a star in the making
Good for him!! :ok:

And it was indeed good to see that Safin had got a good win over Youzhny too!!
Another favourite player, glad to see him doing well again.. maybe now that he's declared a (rather forward-looking!) retirement date he might cut down on his hedonistic partying, and apply his rather considerable tennis skills a little better..?
Mind you, he does like the social whirlwind very much indeed, so see how things go... ;)

For anyone who's interested, one of the semi-finals in France will be Grosjean vs. Djokovic, which i think should be interesting. Djokovic seems to be in good form so i'd probably bet on him winning.

And your prediction proved to be correct! :ok: Good win for Novak, in 3 sets.
So it's Djokovic v Jurgen Melzer for the final. Melzer seems to have had an excellent results.. did he not bear Marat? :(
Hopefully Novak will win this one! :)

Melzer did beat Marat
He is finally living up to the talent he possesses

Melzer has such random results he really does  roflmao
He wins Bucharest this year, after barely winning any matches beforehand, then fails to make an impact throughout the rest of the year and is now in the Metz final. bizzare roflmao

Well Djokovic has won another tournament, defeating Jurgen Melzer 4-6, 6-3, 6-2
Bravo Novak!!
It means that he will break into the top 20 for the first time :)
And the boy has ambitions:
"But my goal is to become world number one even if I know that with players such as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal it will be difficult."
Go Novak!! :ok:
welshboy91 - October 8, 2006 05:18 PM (GMT)
what a great attitude that boy has :ok:
