This is true.. whereas Murray has a few to defend, doesn't he..
I hope that Tim does put up a really good fight at the very least. Who knows, he might even sneak it? He's due a win against him, but it would be a bit of a blow for Andy if Tim were to prevail...
Flame - September 24, 2006 03:12 PM (GMT)
murray again for timbo. that's it. tennis draws are officially rigged.
The Dav - September 24, 2006 03:18 PM (GMT)
Again! roflmao
This is like last year when Henman got Stepanek at every event

I think Tim like everyone else is sick of seeing Murray  roflmao
ark_28 - September 24, 2006 06:49 PM (GMT)
Im no Henman fan at all but he has a real shot this time I feel v Murray was very close last time they played and he is fresh after a little rest since the open while Murray will be coming off an 18 hour flight with added pressure of points to defend
Flame - September 24, 2006 09:21 PM (GMT)
and murray injured himself today. i'm still not confident for tim though, lol.
JymJilly - September 25, 2006 08:07 AM (GMT)
I hope Tim does it this time. He needs a boost . And he needs to save face over Murray.
Latest reports say he was really delighted when he got Murray again in the draw and he is confident this time. He is up for it. When is he never though . He always says that about Federer too. Whereas Murray keeps having shooting pains in his chest.
Pebs - September 25, 2006 08:29 PM (GMT)
he better bloody kick his arse this time round - I cant stand it if Tim loses to gurny again....
SuperBRAT - September 25, 2006 10:11 PM (GMT)
Oh dear, shame both Brits in the first round :( Well that will be interesting. I hate that as I support both of them.

Sounds like Tim is up for it, I think.. this might be a really good chance for him to redress the head to head a little..

Well, whoever wins that one, there's a guaranteed Brit in the quarters now that Boggo's won his 1st match !

Have to say! this is a bit curious! skys coverage doesnt start till friday quater finals day! and the draw has worked out as such that as long as Boggy beat Yang which he did there will defiantely be a Brit on Quater Finals Day!! Coincidence?
welshboy91 - September 26, 2006 04:26 PM (GMT)

Apparently not ! Now that Henman's won against Andy, he will certainly be favourite to get to the quarters. Great win for him ! He's said his aim is to be seeded for the AO and a good run here will definitely help him on his way.
A litle worried about how many points Andy is going to drop here, though. I hope he doesn't fall down the rankings too much.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss!!!!! :D :D :D
woooohoooo!! get in! I as you can tell ladies and gentleman ;) am absolutely chuffed Henman beat Murray! I was getting upset with how much they had drawn each other the past 4 months and how everytime they did... Murray won :( I didn't even know what time they was playing because I haven't bothered to check what time in front of us Thailand was... so I went on Tim's website to check up about half hour ago and i see Henman defeats Murray :D :D :D soooo happy!! and even better is that there is gauranteed to be a brit in the quarters! Hopefully Henman :) :) :) pleasee pleaseeee Henman!!!
Does anyone know when Henman vs Bogdanovic is likely to be? Because i notice on the Thailand Open website that the order of play for thursday isn't out yet
Anyway, Henman yessssss

Im sad that Murray wasn't able to defend his final points :(
Hope it doesn't affect his ranking too much...
So glad for Tim though  He finally deserved a win and I'm glad he got it :ok:
I just hope he can keep this good form up and win the thing, and NOT follow form by losing to Boggy or whoever in the next round(s)

By my reckoning he will still be in the top 20. 19th i make it and with barely anything to defend for the rest of the season - should be good!

I agree. Sad for Murray bu tpleased for Tim. Now that Tim has a good chance though let's hope he dont; blow it, he ha sto do well IMO to justify (as a Brit) Murray's exit.
