It doesn't seem right for Lindsay to be playing on the first day. Do you think they'll change this before tomorow?

I wouldn't mind if they changer her with Serena ;) Im dying to see her play and hope she opens strongly :D

welshboy91 - August 27, 2006 12:35 PM (GMT)

Unfortunatly I very much doubt that they will... Maria Sharapova was in the same situation going into the French Open and they did nothing about it despite her asking to have it changed... then again, Lindsay is American so they might just bend the schedule a bit! :D

Scotsguy - August 27, 2006 01:44 PM (GMT)
Well because it's all the lower half of the draw, (which seems a bit unfair giving the No.2 seeds that 1 day advantage over the top seeds) Lindsay would have to play tuesday and wednesday if they out her on yhe 2nd day....

welshboy91 - August 27, 2006 01:57 PM (GMT)
"Hopefully she won't have to play her first round until Tuesday and can get as fit as possible. Fingers crossed, LD!"

I know that's why she should sue, to get their attention. roflmao

I heard she considered sueing about the whole WC issue but said it wasn't her style. But the open organisers have just been plain rude this time.
