Hass has been in form lately . An upset may be on the cards. Maybe Hass would have beaten Fed yesterday. But somehow I doubt it. But he could well beat Nadal tonight.
Nadal shines on the clay but not always on the hardcourts.

:ok: I know. That's what I'm hoping for. Nadal's pretty cool, though, so I won't mind if he wins. Keeps things interesting in the fight for No. 1. (At least Nadal still has a very outside shot . . . )
Nick Havoc - August 17, 2006 06:13 PM (GMT)
Oooh. Haas grabs a quick mini-break at 2-0.

From 5-3 down Nadal plays a very steady breaker and unforced erros creep in from Haas. Nadal wins the breaker )7-5) and takes et 1 7-6
Nick Havoc - August 17, 2006 06:24 PM (GMT)
Well. It quickly went from 5-3 to 5-7.
Are you watching, ark? Just curious for a feel for how the end of that tiebreak went? Big winners by Nadal? Errors by Haas?
Nick Havoc - August 17, 2006 06:25 PM (GMT)
Oh. I see you answered my question just before I asked it. :D
