You see I hate it when he does that at school. I remember he broke the frame of his previous racquet (Wilson Hammer # I think) when he slammed it against the court in anger. He's very violent, you know.

Don't know the exact name, but I've got a Head Liquid Metal Series...I think that's the official name.
It's serving me well, nice racquet. :) Expensive though!

The liquidmetal racquets are always pretty damn good - the flexpoints i've got are an 'evolution of that I believe, although I don't take a lot of notice of the branding roflmao

I'm thinking of buying another racquet anyway, so now would be a good time I guess

Hey sir matchstickmen, are you happy with your FP Radicals? Have you played with the FP Prestige? Just looking for opinions on them because I am owed some racquets through a sponsorship deal and I like the Radical, but the Prestige was recently recommended to me as well. The old iPrestige was awesome, so wondered if you have played with the new ones and what you think....
Anyone else played with either/both?

I did try the prestige, along with about a million other racquets that my coach got hold of for me to try! roflmao
I can't say it felt a hell of a lot different from the radical, I just preferred the radical because I could get a little more of my power through the ball (I'm built like an ox u see! roflmao ).
It's difficult to tell what other people would like through a few lines of text - see if you can try them both, most sports shops nowadays allow you free trial of rackets anyway!
I would also advise to try Babolat Rackets if you haven't before - they are a bit like Marmite, some people (including me) can't stand them or get along with them, but others love them!
hope that helps ;)
TennisMenace - September 13, 2006 11:54 AM (GMT)
That's great - cheers for your help. I know what you mean about Babolats - can't hit a barn door from 5m with them myself, but some people swear by them.
Will see if I can track down a sports shop with the Prestige - no decent ones in my neck of the woods. My fault for living in outback Australia (well, not quite). Will see what I can find though - cheers! :ok:

Ah I didn't know you were in Oz!
Obviously I wouldn't be able to help you too much as to where to go to find the prestige there :(

The funny thing about it is that your strings usually break just as the racquet is performing really well - and invariably your string break after you've timed the ball really well! roflmao
