Although she was quite good in RG this year...Just bad luck to have Dinara in R128.

Congratulations to Vera!! And yet another tournament win.. that's 3 (incl doubles) in 5 weeks. Not too shabby :)
Anyone know where this might leave her in the rankings now? Surely she will break the top 30 at the very least..
And agreed, she deserves a much better draw in the USO than she's had in the slams so far this year.
I'd think that she should be seeded for that. The top seeds will be glad not to face her in the opening rounds
And commiserations to Katarina.. as WB said on the beeb site, there was precious little said about her very good win over Patty Schnyder in the semi..
I must say that I enjoyed Patti's blog btw..
