For those people following Monte Carlo last week, you may have noticed lots of discussion about the BOTB. This is a predictions competition which is run through BritishTennis.net where we compete against various other boards - including roger federer's website, the BBC, AndyMurrays website and lots of others.

The idea is basically the same as the ATPs bracket challenge - you predict for the whole tournament at the beginning, and then get points for correct picks - with the points awarded increasing per round.

It's good fun - we play against each other as well as against the boards - and for Monte Carlo CC managed to win :yahoo: with Fah placing second overall and winning the CC comp :ok:

So if you want to join in for Rome, the draw will be out over the weekend, so have a look in the Battle of the Boards forum and join in - the more the merrier :)

Fancied getting busy now but you can't see who to pick so better hold on! Then again it would be fun to pick blind and I might do better :lol:

How the heck can I get on this competition as I always seem to miss it. :angry:

Have a look in the Battle of the Boards forum - a post will go up at some point over the weekend when the draw is up, and the deadline will probably be sometime on Monday morning (9am in the UK I would guess......) If you don't mind predicting before the qualifiers are placed in the draw, then you can probably predict from saturday onwards, but if you want to wait for the qualifiers you'll have to predict on Sunday evening/Monday morning.

Shame it's not up until the weekend but I don't expect they can do much about that. It's a bank holiday one and folks might be away.

that's the team results. if you go to the other Rome battle of the boards thread (in the dedicated forum) then there's usually updates posted fairly regularly throughout the day :)
