I got tickets for number 1 court for Tuesday of first week.
I have been to Wimbledon 5 times before but never get bored of going to it! :)

Centre Court first Thursday. The day after I get back from Canada so I hope I'm not too jetlagged :unsure:

My mate also has tickets for mens final day but on Number 1 court. We'll probably go for the atmosphere.

One thing I meant to say.

Recently I went on the Wimbledon Tour - a guided tour round the grounds then you can go see the museum.

Because of building works centre court is off limits at the moment but they take you round the media centre instead, including Sue's studio! It's actually really strange seeing Wimbledon look like a building site with Centre Court & the new court 2 still being built.

Definitely worth the trip though and was only £15.50 for a good 2-3 hours visit.

I had to watch a kim match at Wimby, was desperate for her to get off as Andy was up next, nightmare! Was a bit of an anticlimax after Fed.

By the way I don't want Henin or Mauresmo, I'm off to the outside courts if that happens!!

I am going to Wimbledon All England tennis club in 3 weeks...not to watch but to play on their grass courts! :yahoo:

Tenez, that sounds really rather cool - how did you wangle that then?? and more to the point - if you are in with people in the know, can you wangle me Wimbers tickets??? ;)

The thing is our club is probably the oldest (or second oldest club in the world) and very close by to Wimbledon's club. I was told the tennis emplacement is the oldest cause though Wimbledon is older, they moved the courts around at the beginning while our club's haven't and we have trophies dating pre-1900. Soem of our members know the people in the know as you say and have organised a day to play there (8 to 12 members). We also have access once a month to Wimbledon's covered courts but that does not do it for me. It's there grass courts were the pro will play later that really excites me.

all sounds rather exciting to me - I bet you cant wait :)
